The cruise was very good and provided drinks right when walking onto the boat. They didn't stir in the alcohol until right before you grabbed the drink, so virgin drinks for children were available as easy as alcoholic drinks. The workers asked if we needed anything the entire time we were on the boat and were all very friendly. I am giving four stars because the food wasn't good. The cruise was great, though with great views!!
Honestly, this tour would have gotten at least 3 or 4 stars except for one thing- my boyfriend and I got food poisoning from it. I know that usually there would be reasonable doubt, but it was the only food we'd eaten that day that could have even potentially caused it. In their defense, I'm not sure if they outsource the catering, but it made for a really miserable trip home the next day.
That being said, the tour route was nice and they made good drinks. All of the employees were super friendly and helpful. If you want to take your chances with this tour as long as they fix the food issue you should have a great time. We went in March and I would just encourage anyone to bring a jacket if they're there at a similar time since it gets chilly on the water once the sun has gone down.
As soon as you get onboard you are directed to the open bar...nice. The staff come around and serve you often or you can go to the bar and get what you want no fancy drinks The boat is spacious with lots of open viewing. The food is pretty good and varied for a boat buffet. In summary, you can't beat the experience for the price and the staff are super friendly and attentive.
This really was a very fun evening. The weather was beautiful as it always had been everytime we've been down there, the boat is clean and the open bar was nice. The whales were migrating so the captain made an effort to get us close-up looks and we got lots of amazing pictures.
My only complain would be the food. It kind of felt like you're in line for hot lunch at your middle school. And it tasted like it.
I would definitely been willing to pay more for a better quality meal, BUT - we still had a nice time. It's just fun to get to see Cabo from the water and see things you can't see from downtown.
