This tour was an excellent value. Three incredibly impressive and culturally crucial sights to Mexico's history and Alma, our English tour guide was so knowledgeable and authentic. We learned so much! The larger group was split up into two which was not too bad to maintain throughout the day. Our Spanish guide, Lulu, was sparky and cute on the bus ride. She also provided further facts during the trip to keep us entertained. I loved our guides and would highly recommend this option!!
This was an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Our guide Kevin was fantastic.....si!....with knowledgeable commentary in both English and Spanish, and his upbeat and fun discourse ran from start to finish. Thanks also to Manuel for his safe driving. The Basilica of Guadalupe is a beautiful site with so much history and spirit, and the Pyramids were majestic and awe-inspiring, and also spiritual in a different way, and you don't need to climb them to appreciate that. The bus pickup was on time, the tequila sampling and rock appreciation was fun, the souvenir shops were interesting with the staff really gently but pushing for purchases), and lunch was quite good (I had the buffet), and all in all it was a great experience.
Excellent day out with a great tour guide Gerson don't think I spelt that correctly but he was fantastic.
This tour is really good and a great value. I was disappointed in the amount of time that we spent at the pyramids themselves though. They need to cut out the presentation before lunch completely, which is basically a sales pitch for local products blankets, tequila, etc. The lunch portion needs to be cut by an hour, and more time spent at the pyramids. Once we got to the pyramids, we climbed the first level of the Sun pyramid, and found out there was a hour wait wrapped around the whole thing, which then took up all of our time. We had literally enough time to get to the top and snap three photos and head back down to catch the bus. I forgot to mention, there was a LONG line at the top of the pyramid to get down too. We had to go to the front and cut line to make back to bus on time. Other than that, the trip was a great trip with great hosts. To be fair, it was a Sunday afternoon on a holiday weekend in Mexico, so it may not be like that all the time, but the lunch could still have been much shorter.
We had the best guide and best driver. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.
The tour was brilliant! Tour guides Lourdes and Clair were lovely and knowledgeable, and the sites were mind blowing. Highly recommend this tour - great value and awesome experience.
The tour was wonderful! We just wished that we had more time at The Basilica of Guadalupe to stay at the mass and to buy souvenirs.
We love the tequila tasting. The pyramids are beautiful. We will recommend this tour to our friends.
This tour is very fun! The guides are very knowledgeable, if you get Francisco as your tour guide you will have a lovely time. This is a must when in Mexico and I can say I enjoyed it because it is very informative and very fun!
One of my favorites! Very informative and well timed! Teotihuacan's Pyramid of the Sun is just impressive. Enough time for the tour, climb the pyramid, and buy souvenirs!
Great day tour to see incredible pyramids, the beautiful Basilica although would've been nice to spend more time there, and get a real feel for the culture and flavor of the greater Mexico City area.
The tour was great and Sandra our guide was very polite, informative and nice. Highly recommended .
Great history, you should be in form to climb the Pyramids but worth the trip
This was an excellent tour. Our guide was wonderful informative, friendly, and completely bilingual. Highly recommend.
This was a great tour to take to experience the Teotihuacan Pyramids and the Basilica of Guadalupe, along with the ruins of Tlatelolco. We were picked up from our hotel earlier than we were told, luckily we were ready, and joined a bus full of tourists from North and South America to these three landmark locations. Our favorite part was visiting the Teotihuacan Pyramids, and climbing to the top of the Sun Pyramid. The tour guide was informative each step of the way, and made sure all the tourists' questions were answered. This is a very long day -- in the end it was about 12 hours long heavy traffic and some rain slowed us down, but there were multiple breaks along the way. Good value, and a fun time.
Great trip! Our tour guide was entertaining, knowledgeable, kind and funny. He gave us enough time to explore the sites and we were even treated to different fermented beverages made from maguey at Teotihuacan. Our trip ended at a buffet that had wonderful food! I highly recommend this trip.
