Wednesday and Friday
Your tour begins around 8am when you're conveniently picked up by a friendly guide at your Cabo San Lucas hotel. After driving a secluded coastal road away from the buzz of Los Cabos, your first stop is the Tropico de Cancer to experience the desert flora and fauna and shop at a local market.
From here you drive to the town of Barriles for panoramic views of the coastline, and drink in the beauty of this desert town that's world renowned for its fishing. From here you head north to San Bartolo, where you can purchase snacks like Mexican sweets, tamales, and empanadas. In the mining town of El Triunfo, your guide will point out a smokestack designed by the architect Gustave Eiffel—the same architect responsible for designing the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Upon arrival in downtown La Paz, stroll on the waterfront Malecón, admire the restaurants and shops, and swim in the waters of Coromuel Beach on the northern outskirts of town. After swimming, splashing, and tanning on the sand, admire historic La Paz Cathedral and wander through town at your leisure, before dining at famous "Bismarkcito" in the heart of the Malecón.
After lunch the adventure continues by traveling to Todos Santos, for a visit to famous Hotel California and the chance to purchase arguably one of the best margaritas in Mexico.
At the end of this full-day Baja adventure, your small group tour concludes with transport back to your Cabo hotel.

Great tour of La Paz, and the beach plus many small towns along the way-- also visited the world famous Hotel California in Todos Santos Mexico. Van was small for such a long day,
The Day Trip to La Paz from Cabo San Lucas was a great escape. We had a lot of time to take pictures and soak in the atmospheres. One of the quick stops we did was at Coromuel Beach. This place was so beautiful, the crystal clear waters were breathtaking. We had many stops on this tour and we made plenty of memories. However, if I could go back in time I would have booked a day trip to Coromuel Beach instead and just spend the entire day there. Next time.
My wife and I have taken this type of excursion in other countries to get an overview of an area. And then later, explore in more detail on our own with a car. This is a long day, however you are not driving. And there are frequent stops. Antonio was our guide. He had a cooler of bottled water for the 6 of us. And asked our preferences and gave us options. For example, we had an opportunity to swim in La Paz versus touring its downtown. We packed a lot in. So that when we explored later on, we felt familiar with the areas we visited, and new where to stop if we need to get food or a restroom break. And during the trip, Antonio provided us with the history of the areas we were visiting. Would recommend to those of you skittish about driving and wanting to get out of the Cabo area to explore.
I have taken so many great tours on Viator and I hate to leave a bad review... but here goes. We did not enjoy this tour at all. It was very very long and I felt like they almost made up stuff to do so they could call it a tour. Im sorry I know that sounds harsh but really its true. The buss they picked us up on was horrible. Small, packed and cramped - one couple even got off the buss down the street from their hotel because it was so cramped. Danny did his best but we could not hear him in the back. Had no mic or at least one that worked. The tropic of cancer was just a silly stop as was the one with the Eiffel Tower guy. It was an abandoned mill.... like I said there was nothing interesting about it that I would build a tour around it. I wanted to love LA Paz and I think it is a great town, but it was too cold for the beach and there was no where to get a drink so we all just sat there looking at each other why we stopped here in the first place! Nothing was open and it was freezing! So we then went to the jewelry store for a pseudo pearl demonstration but again it was just an attempt to sell us very over priced jewelry. We left and went down the street for a beer and to walk around. I feel that there was more to the town that we could have seen and we came all that way to do.... pretty much nothing. Next we set off for an hour drive in that horrible van to Todos Santos. The best part by far of the tour. Hotel California was there and the town itself was really cute. My favorite. but we only had 30 minutes there. Such a shame! Lunch was really nice. Do yourself a favor and skip this tour and take a much shorter one to Todos Santos or La Paz.
This is a long day trip. We were picked up at 6:30 a.m. and dropped off back at our hotel after 8:00 p.m. With that being said, we did enjoy the overall experience of the trip. I thought our tour guide Alex was extremely knowledgeable on the history of all of the areas we visited. I am going to say that I would recommend this trip, but here are some thoughts to go along with it. You are taken immediately to a jewelry store upon arrival at La Paz, where you are talked to about the history of pearls, and some pressure to purchase jewelry. The trip is disorganized as to what you are doing in which town at which stop. If you like things very structured, this is probably not a good trip for you. If you don't mind just flying by the seat of your pants a bit, you will enjoy the trip.
Danny was an awesome tour guide. Time spent swimming at the beach in La Paz was a highlight for me. Lunch was great too. Great tour.
