We had the private tour and it was well worth the money. This was a 2.5 hr drive from Cancun and having the private van was great. The driver was very knowledgeable and was there to guide us through the lines and provide details about the country, the Cenote, and Valladolid. We had our own tour guide at the pyramids and he spoke English and provided us with a lot of good history.
We had a great day on this tour! It was definitely a long day, but so well worth it. Our driver was very friendly, our guide at Chichen Itza was so knowledgable and went above expectations to make it memorable for our group, swimming in the cenote was AMAZING. The day was capped off with a quick tour of an old fashioned tequila factory we passed on going to the chocolate factory...we were tired. We were a group of 12 and everyone had a great time.
We had a great Excursion! We paid the extra to have our own driver because we have 2 boys and didn't want to be forced to do what a big group was doing. A 2 hour drive then met up with our guide Henry. He was very patient with my kids questions. Great info. Then lunch (drinks not included).
Excellent Tour. This is a Full day tour, but theres no hassle because its very private.
private driver was very nice, he would tell local stories and interesting facts.
the guide was also great, i think that this tour is the way you should see Chichen Itza.
We had a fabulous day! The driver was so accommodating to our schedule, friendly, and knowledgeable. We wanted to spend more time touring Chichen Itza and our driven was okay with this. He had many suggestions on where to shop and visit in Valladolid. Swimming in the Cenote was a lot of fun. The day was fun. Highly recommend this trip.
