Departs from dive center in Cancun
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three sections: theory, pool sessions, and open water dives. First, students receive all necessary information about the underwater environment, scuba diving equipment, basic techniques, and skills to dive safely. During pool classes, you'll practice all the skills used on open water dives — like ear equalization and mask removal and replacement — in a controlled environment before entering the open water. Finally, apply your knowledge and new skills on open water dives under the watchful eye of a PADI-certified instructor.
First day we start with the theoretical part, then the practical part in the closed water pool. Then two dives in the sea. First dive takes you to the underwater museum in Cancun for an initial 1-hour dive after a safety briefing. Following a break and another briefing, you'll take a second 1.5-hour dive, then return to the dive center for a discussion and a second lecture. In the afternoon, you're returned to your hotel.
Next day begins with a morning transfer from your hotel to the marina. Board the boat for a briefing, followed by a next open water dive. After about an hour, take a break before a second briefing and dive in the clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. After returning to the dive center for your final exam (about 1 hour), you're dropped-off at your hotel.
Note: The PADI certification is recognized worldwide and is valid for life. Having achieved it, you are qualified to dive at any dive center in the world up to a maximum depth of 60 feet (18 meters).

These guys are great. Never did this before n they took there time made me totally relaxed and we had fun. For me it was one on one because of the slow season but I also got to know the owner of the company very nice guy. I’m from America so my teacher was American. The owner is Russian but he speaks 5 languages.
We started our course with Elana , she was very good . Patrick was our instructor for the remainder of our course , he was so patient with my girl friend and got her calm enough to pass , he was equally great with me , Thanks Diversland , the experience was excellent
There is learning to drive courses and then there is Diversland. From the super efficient Eugenia who organized every detail for us, to Patrick the most amazing, patient and caring instructor. The real beauty of any trip is when all the staff go above and beyond. Demetri and his team do that as a way to make you feel relaxed and safe. We had the most amazing time, the quality of learning and the pace and patience for my son and I to enjoy every moment was outstanding. A big thanks to the whole team and especially to Patrick who made our entry into the world of scuba diving a wonderful experience
