First, visit Real Mayab, surrounded by lush gardens and decorated in a truly unique style, bring comfort and rest amidst a calm and quiet atmosphere. Facilities are specially designed to welcome guests looking for a holistic retreat. We have green areas, meditation zone, a traditional temazcal and an arts and crafts shop to purchase the perfect souvenir of your stay. Plus, our Ix Chel Restaurant pays homage to the Mayan cuisine by preparing authentic delights of the Yucatecan gastronomy like the typical Cochinita Pibil.
Then go to Chichen Itza, the most important archaeological site of the Mayan culture, a place that is a must to visit. From the many monumental buildings of the area of Chichen itza the most important one its the Pyramid of Kukulcan, as also referred to as “The Castle”, one of the paradigms of the Mayan architecture. A pyramid with four sides that ends as a square temple. Each side of the pyramid, has 91 stairs plus one that leads to the high temple, this totals 365 stairs one for each day of the year.
Visit Ecological Park Ik-Kil, which is located 3 km from the archaeological site of Chichen Itza. It is one of the most visited during the year. It has an open sinkhole with an area of 85 feet and its shape is perfectly circular with 196 feet wide and about 130 feet deep, making it one of the largest in the peninsula Yucatan.
To finish your tour, visit Valladolid. Aside from being a sanctuary and standing out as such, it is not as Christian in its interior. Though originally built in the 1545, it was demolished and rebuilt in 1703 because of the Crime of the Mayors, who were murdered at the altar,in the remodeling the entrance was changed due to this events.

The overall tour is fine. Lunch is good, the car is clean. But keep in mind: they DO BRING YOU TO SHOPPING SITES!! The tour guide won't force you to shopping but will keep promoting different Mayan products..... It can be a little annoying for people who don't like this.
First stop was to the cenote. It is amazing. You have an opportunity to see a performance inside and take pictures. You may swim as well, so bring a swim suit. Lunch was at Lienzo Charro , which is across the place. It is walking distance. It is buffet style, which I completely love. The children will perform a traditional dance for you. The next stop was to the Chichen Itza, one of the seven wonders of the world. I would have love for it to be the first stop because it was extremely hot outside. I would recommend bring caps, hats, or umbrella to keep cool. There is an ice cream store inside, which help. The last stop was the city, Valladolid. You will visit a church and a park. There will be a performance there as well and opportunities to take pictures.
I joined this tour on 3 April 2018. Overall is good, except the late hotel pick up due to the misunderstanding between Aviator and Altus tour (sub-tour). Instead of Ik-kil cenote, they brought us to another cenote called Suytun. No Temazcal tour was provided as expected. However, tour guide is great
Galo, our tour guide, was fantastic! He was knowledgable, high-spirited, and kind. The tour was well planned and worth every penny.
David, Jose an Tanya out Gide she and bus driver were great. David was a great and knowledgeable guide. It was along day but worth every minute of it. Chicken Itza is amazing to see.
This was a great tour! Our guide, Galo, was very knowledgeable and fluent in English and Spanish. We went to Valladolid first. We only had 20 minutes to shop and look around which was difficult, but understandable. I would recommend going in the cathedral while there and not spend time shopping. There was plenty of opportunity to shop later on the tour, so don't freak over only having 20 minutes! When we went to Real Mayab, we had to ask about the Temazcal. If it is not offered, be sure to ask! It is an experience that you won't forget! The buffet lunch was wonderful!!!! At Chichen Itza, we had a 45 min-1 hr tour, then had a hour to shop, take photos and look around. It was ample time. This tour also takes you to a cenote to swim, so be sure to take your swimsuit. You can take a backback with your swimsuit/towel and personal items for the day and can leave it on the bus when you shop. It is a nice tour bus with a bathroom. I wish I had known about the transportation and the swimsuit because we weren't prepared at all. Take sunscreen and/or a hat for Chichen Itza. I'd suggest a water bottle for the day too. You have opportunities to purchase drinks, but it's always good to have your own. We did not swim in the cenote, but those who did really enjoyed it. Instead, we enjoyed some wonderful authentic fruit popsicles that were being sold. They were 50 pesos for 2 popsicles approx. 2.50 US dollar I would suggest having some pesos with you for this excursion. They also take US dollars, but it is easier to have pesos with some of the vendors. Our hotel was on the Hotel strip in Cancun. It took approx. 2.5-3 hrs before we arrived at Vallodolid and took about 2.5 hours to return back to our hotel. We were gone 12 hours total with travel time included. I would highly recommend this excursion! It allows you to see the Mayan people and learn about their culture and their living. My 20 year old daughter thanked me for taking her on this educational and fun excursion! Side note - if you don't have international cell service, you will be off-grid all day. I found this to be very nice for myself and my daughter!
