What to Expect What to Expect

All of our scenic rides start at 11 a.m. We will check everyone in and give a short safety demonstration on riding a horse. Horses will then be matched to riders and we will start out on the trail. During the ride we will ride up through several aspen groves and up over a couple good hills. We have excellent views and the wrangler will stop at multiple spots to allow for photographs. We also stop any time we come across wildlife to allow for photos. We have an abundance of wildlife including moose, mule deer, antelope and elk. We do not guarantee seeing these animals but they are frequent so it is a likely event. Our Cattle Drive starts at 8 a.m. We check everyone in and give a short safety demonstration. We then match horses with riders and head out to the cattle. Depending on where the cattle are we may be on the trail for 30-45 minutes before we get to them. Once we find the cattle a short demonstration will be given on pushing cattle. After the demonstration we will begin to gather the cattle and push them to then next feeding ground. Once we have gotten the cattle to where they belong we will start the ride back to the ranch. We do allow for photos during this activity however the group won't be stopped to take photos while pushing cattle. Once we start the job we have to get it finished.
