Our two families really enjoyed to the tour. We got to see the key sites, received insights in English from our tour guide, and were able to cool off from the intense heat in the comfortable modern air-conditioned buses. This is the best way to see the historical sights.
Although they were 30+ mins late from the time they told me they would pick us up, and they do pick up a bus-load of 25-30 people before starting the tour - Richard did a great job. This is an English and Spanish tour (which we were not expecting) and I wish I had known that ahead of time, but Richard did a great job explaining everything about Cartagena. He told us the history, did a walking tour through the old town which gave you the lay of the city. Very impressed!
The tour with Nico was quite informative and he was very attentive to the English speaking audiences. This is a must take tour early in your trip to Cartagena. It sets the baseline for your further exploration later in your trip. La Popa and the San Felipe were the highlights.
Loved this tour! The tour guide Jose was amazing!!! Very knowledgeable too. Highly recommend
the tour was definitely fun and interesting. we saw a lot of Cartagena and met some cool travelers from bogota as well. great atmosphere and experience. the guide was also very helpful and funny. would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience Cartagena.
The beginning was just a bus ride across city of Cartagena. It gets interesting once you hit the San Felipe Fortress
This is a good tour; however, our group was predominantly Spanish speaking. Those of us who spoke English felt completely left out. Our guide, Oscar, would speak for about 5 minutes in Spanish then say to us (once we protest) that he'll translate. When he does, it's usually one sentence.
Jose was a superb tour guide----very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended!!!
We received 2 phone calls the night before to make sure what time the pick up will be . They arrived on time and we had a great guide and driver. Our guide was Richard and he spoke English perfect. He was very knowledgeable and very personable. I would recommend this tour.
Great overview of the city This tour will take you to all of the main spots
Didn't expect to see as much as we did, but it was amazing to see Cartagena. Bring comfortable walking shows and snacks.
Our guide Nico did an excellent job. Full of interesting stories about the town.
He arranged to meet us at our hotel despite the rain and an international peace conference going on around the block from where we were staying.
Our group consisted of five family members. Our tour guide, Hernan and driver, Victor were AMAZING!! Not only were they great individuals all around, but they were professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and best of all, went above and beyond to make my brother, who has special needs feel comfortable throughout the tour. They assisted us in getting him on and off the van and were always making sure everyone else was comfortable and hydrated. Hernan was an excellent tour guide and very knowledgeable about the history and points of interest around the city. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who has never been to Cartagena and wants to know what the city has to offer. The other thing I advise you to do is bring snacks because it's right around 1 pm that they pick you up and you get dropped off at 7 pm. There's no window to grab a bite to eat so be prepared. Other than that, we are highly satisfied and glad we took this tour. Thank you Hernan and Victor for making our experience in Cartagena an enjoyable one.
