Upon pick-up at your hotel in Puerto Vallarta at 7am, you'll enjoy a scenic 3-hour drive to Chapalilla, where you’ll grab a Mexican breakfast of handmade tortillas. From there, travel for another hour and a half to the town of Tequila. In Tequilla, you’ll head to the distillery and learn about how the spirit is crafted. After your guide explains the tequila-making process, you are welcome to taste some different types of the drink—as long as you’re over 18.
When you’ve had your fill of samples, take a walking tour around the city's downtown area. From Tequila, your driver will take you to Guadalajara for a 5pm check in at your hotel. Spend the night at leisure.
Your second day starts with 9am pick up. Your guide takes you on a walking tour of the city, explaining the significance of the Guadalajara Historic Center (Centro Historico), and more. Keep your camera close for shots of the Degallado Theater and Hospicio Canaña Building.
Once the tour of the city is finished, you’ll head back to your hotel to gather your belongings and then travel Tlaquepaque. San Pedro Tlaquepaque is known as having some of the best handcrafts in the world, all made by local artisans. Take the opportunity to visit the Parian, a place where you can grab a seat and purchase lunch while listening to Mariachi music.
Your driver will get you around 3pm, arriving back in Puerto Vallarta between 8 and 9 that night.
