Had a great time yesterday with Metaj as our guide. Good amount of riding which was mostly 2 wheel with a few sections of 4 wheel. Multiple great overlooks for photos. Rain made for some decent puddles to plow through, but we avoided getting soaked or muddy.
The highlight of the trip though was an incredible breakfast at their mid point cabin. Pancakes, sausage and biscuits, fruit, yogurt, potatoes, meats, and hot coffee or hot coco. All prepared and steaming as we walked in. The meal was so good and so unexpected that it needs to be part of your thinking. Lunch and dinner I was told are just as expansive...!
Great experience for our family. Trail guides were knowledgeable and very fun! I would definitely go again!
I thought this was a good alternative to the bus tour for our family. The guide was super nice. The meal was just ok. McD’s more satisfying. You just zig zag up a hill and glass the mountains. Take your time and $ on another option. Fly or Jeep into the actual park. This is far away.
For my husband and I this was an excellent ATV tour, lasting about 2 hours of driving the side by side, seeing all the sights, including a moose, with a guide Shawn U. who was very informative and safety conscious, and having an extraordinary lunch that we could hardly believe. If you go on this trip, skip breakfast. The lunch was truly incredible, with coleslaw, potato salad, pasta salad, ribs, chicken, salmon, chili, and a fab dessert. A great value.
This tour had a lot of down time. less driving than i expected. No wildlife. just a lot of dirt and huge bumps on the destroyed paths. just OK for me.
This enabled me a hiking experience which is now denied to me because of my physical deformities. The guides were very friendly and were genuine in their hospitality.
We were very disappointed with our side by side experience. It was very commercialized and the track where you rode was not great and couldn't see much at all. The trail just went around and around in the same area and didn't get up high enough to see too much. Lots of other groups out there in same area doing the same thing, going around and around. The meal was really nice and the best part of the trip. We are farmers so do use these vehicles a lot in our usual day to day running of our farms so should have known better.
The tour and guides were excellent ! We had a clear sunny day so the views were breathtaking ! The Yamaha Mules were in very good condition . Highly recommend wearing a bandana over your mouth and nose .
This tour was one of the best excursions we booked from our Alaska land and sea vacation!! We highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Denali. Although our schedule did not accommodate the dinner/ATV adventure, we booked the morning ride w breakfast and it did not disappoint. The sightseeing was beautiful, the guide was wonderful, and the breakfast was delicious and more than plentifulwhat a beautiful pavilion in the middle of nowhere! So happy to meet everyone at Black Diamond :
Great weather, fantastic dinner and the guide was very personable. Fun to do!
Nice trip and a great meal. More than what we expected. Guide was informative and helpful.
The Side by Side ATV Adventure was Fantastic! Our guides led us over some Wild Alaskan terrain with magnificent views! Dinner at the little cabin was delicious with a great variety of local food including Halibut : . Our guides were top notch and very knowledgable and accomodating to all. EXCELLENT TRIP! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!
Great experience! Lots of fun splashing through the giant potholes in the rain. We stopped at a beautiful log cabin in the woods for a delicious lunch. I highly recommend this. I had never been on an ATV before, and I would definitely do it again. They also have a bus that picks you up at your lodging.
This event was awesome. The machines were brand new, the trails were rocky but exciting. What made the trip exception was our guide - Hanna. She explain a great deal of history about the area and stopped at scenic locations. We even saw 2 moose. Also dinner was included in the cost which was served in a clean, new building in the woods. Food exception, guide exception, ATVs exceptional.
It was great! A lot of fun! Got an exclusive tour since no one else booked the same tour. Luckily, the weather was good so we were able to go to places that normally are inaccessible due to flash flooding.
Igor was great, the breakfast was fantastic. The trail was very bumping, but the scenery was superb.
