13:00 – Visit the Ovda sand dunes including the Tiger Temple. This area used to be completely underwater, and as a result, more than 50% of the sand in this area is comprised of small marine fossils. Be sure to see the remarkable archaeological ruins of the area, including ancient storage vessels.
14:30 – Visit Kibbutz Neot Smadar where the Kibbutz locals ("kibbutzniks") will explore the agricultural and cultural facilities of the grounds and share their local Kibbutz life.
17:00 – Visit Kibbutz Ketura, another Kibbutz which has gone through a remarkable transition from traditional agriculture to a technological leader in its industry.
