What to Expect What to Expect

15 – Hotel pickup in Eilat
00 – Arrive at the Red Canyon and admire the breathtaking scenery of the desert. The walls of this beautiful, red sandstone canyon have been formed by water and wind over thousands of years. This hike is easily accessible and one of the most worthwhile hikes in the region.
00 – Visit the Ovda sand dunes including the Tiger Temple. This area used to be completely underwater, and as a result, more than 50% of the sand in this area is comprised of small marine fossils. Be sure to see the remarkable archaeological ruins of the area, including ancient storage vessels.
30 – Visit Kibbutz Neot Smadar where the Kibbutz locals ("kibbutzniks") will explore the agricultural and cultural facilities of the grounds and share their local Kibbutz life.
00 – Visit Kibbutz Ketura, another Kibbutz which has gone through a remarkable transition from traditional agriculture to a technological leader in its industry.
30 – Arrival back in Eilat, drop off at hotel
