Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Independence Monument, City Centre, Phnom Penh Cambodia

Modelled on the central tower of Angkor Wat, Independence Monument was built in 1958 to commemorate the country’s independence from France in 1953. It also serves as a memorial to Cambodia’s war dead. Wreaths are laid here on national holidays.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Choeung Ek Genocidal Center, Roluos Village, Sangkat Cheung Aek, Phnom Penh Cambodia

Between 1975 and 1978 about 17,000 men, women, children and infants who had been detained and tortured at S-21 were transported to the extermination camp of Choeung Ek. It is a peaceful place today, where visitors can learn of the horrors that unfolded here decades ago.

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Royal Palace, Sothearos between Street 240 & 184, Phnom Penh Cambodia

With its classic Khmer roofs and ornate gilding, the Royal Palace dominates the diminutive skyline of Phnom Penh. It's a striking structure near the riverfront, bearing a remarkable likeness to its counterpart in Bangkok. Being the official residence of King Sihamoni, parts of the massive palace compound are closed to the public.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Silver Pagoda, Phnom Penh Cambodia

The pagoda was originally constructed of wood in 1892 during the rule of King Norodom, who was apparently inspired by Bangkok’s Wat Phra Kaew, and was rebuilt in 1962.Within the Royal Palace compound is the extravagant Silver Pagoda, also known as Wat Preah Keo or Temple of the Emerald Buddha. It is so named for its floor, which is covered with five tons of gleaming silver. You can sneak a peek at some of the 5000 tiles near the entrance, but most are covered to protect them.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Phsar Thmei Market, Tboung Khmum, Cambodia

A landmark building in the capital, the art-deco Psar Thmei (literally 'New Market') is often called the Central Market, a reference to its location and size. The huge domed hall resembles a Babylonian ziggurat and some claim it ranks as one of the 10 largest domes in the world. The design allows for maximum ventilation, and even on a sweltering day the central hall is cool and airy. The market was recently renovated with French government assistance and is in good shape.

Duration: 2 minutes

Stop At: Riverside Park, Preah Sisowath Quay, Phnom Penh Cambodia

Continuing by our safer Preah Sisowath street (the walking is pleasing through a real nice place, especially in the evenings, where people do Rhythmic Gymnastics, playing Cambodian traditional sports, etc.) to the north, you find at the right hand, just to the river, the boats. It is a recommended thing to do, especially in the night. The boats are real floating restaurants and bars and they go down the south of the river, until the Bassac, in a musical travel.
