Itinerary

We will explain in detail the craftsmanship in the artisan products and the projects that rescue the culture around them.
We will visit the following places.
Textile studio. Back-strap, embroidery and the new wave of techniques and applications.
local flavors. history and the sensory impression of food and other substances.
non profit org. Local projects that aims to help with education in local communities and rescue textile work and redesign traditional clothing.
chocolate. Flavors, tasting, techniques and the combinations.
ceramics. techniques and tools used in the process and transformation of the raw materials.
printmaking. the techniques, utensils and the artistic expression of the local artists.
paper recycling. natural pigments, techniques and purpose.
Jose Castillo market. endemic fruits and vegetables and the spiritual/esoteric traditions.
Explore their techniques, what makes them unique and different from the rest; you'll be immersed in the handcraft scene of San Cristobal.
All the producers will give us demonstrations and samples
