The Parks of Val di Cornia, in Tuscany, tell a thousand-year history that starts from the ancient Etruscan people and testifies centuries of mining and metal working, also offering beautiful natural environments, coastal and hilly. Visit: Museo archeologico del Territorio di Populonia, piazza Cittadella 8, 57025, Piombino Italy

Located in the heart of the historic center of Piombino, is a museum where boredom does not find space. Over 2000 objects to cover a journey of 5000 years: showcases-aquariums, full-scale displays of activities and ancient environments, videos of archaeological discoveries and great reconstructions of landscapes, multi-sensory and musical posts, give voice and life to the precious finds kept in the salt. Do not miss the Baratti amphora, a masterpiece in silver coming from the sea, symbol of the Museum and of the beauty of the area.

Services: bookshop, bar, conference room (40 seats), parking, multilingual audio-guide, guided tours proposed by qualified and multilingual staff (by reservation).

The Museum is located in Piazza Cittadella, in the historic center of Piombino. For those arriving by car, the Museum is signposted on the SS Aurelia 1 bis at the exit of Vignale / Riotorto (towards South) and that of San Vincenzo Nord (dir Nord). In both cases take direction Piombino
