The crankshaft position sensor is a car’s component that ensures that an engine’s moving components are working perfectly and monitors fuel injection and ignition timing. A faulty crankshaft position sensor will be unable to identify the exact piston position, triggering an engine misfire. This causes your car to shut off while driving.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also, if your fuel tank is empty while you’re driving, this could also cause your vehicle to stop running. Therefore, if you suspect that you have a problem with your vehicle, you should first check to see if you are out of fuel.
