Most people know Akira Nakai for his work on old Porsche models, especially the 930, 964, and 993 lines. As a matter of fact, these models are compatible with Nakai’s wide-body changes because their frames are strong, and their engines are powerful. 

Among the Porsches that Akira Nakai has worked on are the following: 

Porsche 930 (1975-1989): Nakai loved the Porsche 930! By the way, it was also known as the 911 Turbo. Also, it was the car that gave him the idea for his signature wide-body style. Moreover, he has changed a lot of 930s into fast, track-ready cars. 

Porsche 964 (1989–1994): Nakai paints a lot of pictures of the Porsche 964, which replaced the 930. Meanwhile, he made a wide-body kit for the 964 that keeps the car’s smooth lines but gives it a more aggressive look. 

Porsche 993 (1995–1998): Akira Nakai often works on the Porsche 993, which was the last air-cooled 911. Additionally, people know that his 993 kits are a good mix of style and performance.
