Storage Wars on A&E made antique dealer and entrepreneur Barry Weiss a household name. Bidding wars between buyers and sellers are the focus of this reality show set in sunny California. The businessman has become a household name thanks to his four seasons of appearances on the show. He was famous for his witty one-liners, knowledge, and skill at bidding. Barry was so popular that he was given his own spin-off show, Barry’s Treasure.  

Barry Weiss is one of the most beloved Storage Wars characters. Weiss is a known sucker for vintage cars and bikes. Additionally, he enjoys buying unusual models that you don’t typically see. These rides have a tremendous market value, as one could anticipate. Weiss, though, frequently has no intention of reselling his precious car collection.

2004 Rolls-Royce Phantom

Unpaid storage units are a problem that occurs more frequently than not. In this scenario, the unpaid unit was sold for a higher price of $7,000 than usual. But inside was a magnificent Rolls-Royce car. Given how challenging it could be to truly own the ride, selling it wasn’t the easiest thing to do. But even so, it was a treasure that few people who look for storage units anticipate discovering every day. With such a find, the buyer could at least cover the unit’s cost.

Barry got a great deal when he bought the car in 2013 for $55,000. Even in its original purple color, the car was attractive enough to warrant a full repaint by Barry, who chose black. The new, darker color scheme is strikingly different and, dare we say it, more Bat-like. 

The car’s popularity skyrocketed after being reimagined by Hot Wheels. In 1999, we paid $250,000 for it. Barry paid significantly less than half the price many years later. After the black paint, other modifications, and a few other adjustments, the price went through the roof again. He has impeccable taste in automobiles. 

The Lincoln Zephyr has a 3.0L V6 engine with twin turbochargers that generate 221 horsepower and 205 pound-feet of torque. You can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 7.6 seconds and hit 90 miles per hour with the help of this. 

1966 Shelby Mustang

A naturally aspirated Cobra 289 High-Performance V8 engine produces 306 horsepower and 329 pound-feet of torque in the 1966 Shelby Mustang. This aids the vehicle’s acceleration from 0-60 mph in 6.6 seconds and its top speed of 138 mph. A Mustang is a sure A-lister in every car collection. This is icing on top of Barry Weiss’s car collection

DeLorean DMC-12

There has been some controversy surrounding this vehicle. Both fans of futuristic design and those more concerned with practicality have mixed opinions on the vehicle. Despite its futuristic appearance, it drives nothing like a time machine. Because of this, people frequently gave up on the vehicle and left them in abandoned locations. 

The number of DeLoreans that have been left to rust because their owners have forgotten about them can be found with a simple Google search. The same thing occurred on Storage Hunter UK during a storage find. The couple found a DeLorean in pristine condition hidden away. 

The combined output of the DeLorean DMC 12’s 2.85-liter V6 engine is 130 horsepower and 153 pound-feet of torque. Thanks to this upgrade, the car can now accelerate from 0-60 mph in 10.5 seconds and have a top speed of 130 mph. 

1947 Cowboy Cadillac

According to Weiss himself, he has no plans to sell the vehicle. How could anyone possibly blame him? Even after all these years, not only does the car run, but it also looks great. This is probably the magnum opus of the Barry Weiss car collection. 

Roadkill Customs claims that the Cowboy Cadillac was created by Frank Derosa in the late 1940s. Over the course of his career, he created several one-of-a-kind hot rods. Like Barry’s other rides, this one is a one-of-a-kind creation. 

A 5.7L V8 engine provides the 1947 Cowboy Cadillac with 150 HP and 274 lb-ft of torque. It aids the vehicle’s acceleration from 0-60 mph in just 15.5 seconds. 

Tesla Roadster

Finds from storage units have a reputation for being expensive because of the age of the items found there. But suppose we told you that a Tesla was found in a discarded shipping container? In the episode “Judgment Day” of Storage Hunters, two people found a new Tesla roadster hidden away in the storage unit. 

The amusement park ride looked like it had never been used. The Tesla Motors Club claims that the vehicle was a total loss and, therefore, not covered by insurance. This is the equivalent of making it big time! The Tesla Roadster can be worth close to $160,000. 

The electric motor in the Tesla Roadster produces 288 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. Acceleration from 0-60 miles per hour takes 4.4 seconds, and the top speed is 125 miles per hour with its aid. 

Tim Burton Batmobile

Not your typical Batmobile, for sure. One could argue that this is the best Batmobile ride ever made and is certainly one of the most well-known. Not even sure if Barry has a replica of this ride. We do know that he drove this one-of-a-kind Batmobile on an A&E episode of Barry’s Treasure.  

He had a tough time driving the famous prop vehicle. In fact, Barry caught a small section of the sidewalk while trying to park the ride. Those viewers must have gasped at that moment. The trip, thankfully, went off without a hitch. Beautiful but not the most user-friendly vehicle out there. 

A jet turbine engine generates 1750 lb-ft of torque to propel the Batmobile in Tim Burton’s take on the character. Thanks to this, the car can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. 

1937 Bugatti 57s

The ride’s doctor owner hid it in a storage unit for over 50 years, making it impossible for anyone to see. In 1950s euros, the doctor forked over $895 for the ride. After his death, you’d have no idea what the item was worth. They found it stashed away in the basement and auctioned it off afterward. The highest bid on this attraction was a ridiculous $3 million. Whereas initially, the ride was sold for $895. 

The Bugatti 57S from 1937 is propelled by a 170 HP 3.3L Inline 6 that has been supercharged. The 120 mph top speed is made possible by this.
