Keens Steakhouse

Less than a 10-minute walk away from Madison Square Garden, Keens Steakhouse is not just any restaurant – it’s one of the oldest steakhouses in NYC. A culinary experience reminiscent of the old theater district! A wood-paneled maze of dining spaces compliment the classic American fare on the menu. While you can feast on anything from prime rib to Maine lobster, Keen’s Mutton Chop is the legend. The aged lamb will set you back by $68 but gourmets find it worthy. Eataly NYC Flatiron 

200 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10010 

Distance from MSG: 0.7 miles 

Not one, but seven restaurants under roof, less than a 15-minute walk from the Garden! If you love the taste of Italy, you are no stranger to Eatly. Having the Flatiron location only minutes away from the MSG arena is great news! So, you’ve got Serra By Birrieria, La Pizza & La Pasta, Bar Milano, La Piazza, Il Pastio Di Eatly, Il Pesce, and Il Patio de Eatly. Additionally, Eatly also has cafes and counters for gelato, baked goods, and more. And you can’t miss the Market – so much to explore in one place.   

Hours: The Market is open daily from 9:00AM to 10:30PM. Restaurant hours vary; most are open daily from around 11:00AM. Check the Eatly NYC Flatiron website for details.  

Parking: Eatly NYC Flatiron does not provide on-site parking for diners. But you’ll find plenty of garages nearby. The Aston Garage at 800 6th Avenue is an affordable option. It is well-located in the middle – less than 0.5 miles from MSG and Eatly.

The Garden is a next-door neighbor to the Manhattan Koreatown. So, it’s only fair to have at least one modern Korean restaurant near Madison Square Garden on our list. Piggyback by Pig & Khao 

140 W 30th St, New York, NY 10001

Make no mistake – the laid-back Piggyback serves Asian-inspired plates. It’s great for sharing your love for Pan-Asian flavors in an easy dining space you’ll love to spend time with a bunch of friends.
