What is ‘Boots in the Park’ 2023? 

Boots in the Park is a one-night music festival series traveling across small and large cities. In 2023, Fresno, Bakersfield, Norco, San Diego, and Santa Clarita will be hosting the California events. In addition, Gilbert and Tempe in Arizona also have Boots in the Park 2023 concerts. 

Every year the concert series features some of the most popular country music stars. The festival is usually at outdoor venues during March and April. Fresno was the first Boots in the Park venue, and the city has since hosted several sold-out editions. 2023 also marks Boots in the Park’s sixth year in Norco and seventh in San Diego.

2023 Schedule 

Boots in the Park 2023 concert series begins on March 3 in Bakersfield and then travels to Santa Clarita, Norco, and Gilbert. San Diego kicks off the April events on the schedule, followed by Fresno and Tempe. 

The 2023 Tempe Boots in the Park date is not out yet; check for updates here.

What is the ‘Boots in the Park’ 2023 lineup? 

Boots in the Park is well-known for bringing some of the best names in country music for their one-night-only outdoor concert series. In the past editions, Tim McGraw, Dustin Lynch, Jon Pardi, Mitchel Tenpenny, Cole Swindell, Chris Janson, Chris Young, Kip Moore, Old Dominion, Blake Shelton, Carly Pearce, and Brett Young are some of the artists who drew in the crowds. 

In 2023, Dustin Lynch is headlining the Bakersfield and Santa Clarita shows. Meanwhile, Cole Swindell will take over in Norco, followed by Chris Young in Gilbert and Carrie Underwood in San Diego. And, Cody Johnson is headlining Boots in the Park Fresno 2023. The lineup for the Tempe event is TBD.

When do the Boots in the Park concerts start? 

Doors open at 4 pm for the Bakersfield concert on March 3, 2023, and the event ends at 11.30 pm. Meanwhile, Norco, Gilbert, San Diego, and Fresno events start at 1 pm and end at 10 pm – except in San Diego, where it goes on till 11 pm. And, Boots in the Park Santa Clarita 2023 is from 12 pm to 10 pm on March 4, Saturday.

How much are Boots in the Park tickets?

GA ticket rates range from $59 – $99, varying from city to city. However, GA+ Pit Passes for the San Diego concert costs $199.  

VIP passes cost $149 – $349 and give you access to all GA areas plus express entry to the venue, VIP viewing area with partial upfront stage access, exclusive food and bar services, restrooms, etc.

Cabana packages are available only in Gilbert for groups of ten; it’ll cost you $3200 per Cabana. Hotel packages are also available for Boots in the Park San Diego 2023; rates range from $149 – $549. 

Is there event parking at the venue? 

Boots in the Park events usually provide on-site parking at most venues, except in busy locations like Santa Clarita Central Park or Tempe Beach Park.  

Kern County Fair Grounds at 1142 South P St in Bakersfield has parking lots on-site. However, your tickets do not include a parking fee. Parking rates are usually around $10 during events at this venue; however, it may vary.  

Silverlakes Sports Complex at 5555 Hamner Ave in Norco, Woodward Park at 7777 N Friant Rd in Fresno, and Gilbert Regional Park at 3005 E Queen Creek Rd also have on-site parking facilities. Lowe’s parking lot across the street from Gilbert Park is the designated drop-off/pick-up zone for rideshare vehicles during the event.  

Parking options for Santa Clarita’s Central Park at 27150 Bouquet Canyon Rd, San Diego’s Waterfront Park at 1600 Pacific Hwy, and Tempe Beach Park at 80 W Rio Salado Pkwy are all off-site. You can skip the peak pricing and demand at the best lots and garages near these popular venues by pre-booking your Boots in the Park 2023 parking online.

Boots in the Park 2023: Quick Takes 

  • Boots in the Park 2023 schedule begins on March 3 at Bakersfield, CA 
  • All events are cashless. You can book tickets online in advance. Bars and the Box Office accept only credit/debit cards, while some vendors may accept cash.  
  • Parking space availability varies from venue to venue. On-site parking, if available, will be limited, and you’ll need to pay extra for a spot. Pre-booking a garage space nearby would save more time and money. 
  • Tailgating is not allowed at any of the venues. 
  • Boots in the Park San Diego 2023 is a 21+ only event. All other concerts are open to all ages, but you must be 21+ to consume alcohol. Bring your government issue IDs as age-proof. 
  • Children under five enter free with ticketed adults, except in San Diego. 
  • All events are at ADA/Accessible venues with wheelchair access. 
  • You may be allowed to enter the music festival venue if the wristband is tampered with or damaged 
  • The lineup and set times can change without notice. Ticket refunds are not available unless they cancel the event.
