Columbus will once again host the annual Buckeye Country Superfest at Ohio Stadium. In 2022, the mega event brought over 63,000 fans together. With kings of country George Strait and Chris Stapleton taking the spotlight, you can expect similar numbers this year too. Tickets are on sale now and going fast – so don’t delay. When and Where is Buckeye Country Superfest? 

Buckeye Country Superfest 2023 is on May 27, Saturday, at the Ohio Stadium in Columbus, OH. There’ll be a pre-party on May 26, Friday, featuring Larry Fleet at the Newport Music Hall; doors open at 7 pm.  

This is the annual event’s sixth year at the multi-purpose football stadium on the Ohio State University campus. As a concert venue, the horseshoe-shaped arena has hosted several big names. Buckeye Country Superfest first made it to its events calendar in 2015 and has returned every year since, except in 2020 and 2021, due to pandemic restrictions.  

How many people were at Buckeye Country Superfest? 

In 2019, George Strait and Blake Shelton headlined the concert with over 55k in attendance. Post-pandemic, the numbers swelled to 63k when Luke Combs headlined the last edition on July 23, 2022.  

Who will be at Buckeye Superfest in 2023? 

George Strait returns to headline this year’s festival, along with Chris Stapleton. Little Big Town and Warren Zeiders are the supporting acts on the Buckeye Country Superfest 2023 lineup.  

Larry Fleet will play at the official Buckeye Country Superfest 2023 Pre-party on May 26.  

How much do Buckeye Country Superfest 2023 tickets cost? 

Ticket rates start at $79.99 and go up to $1740 for official platinum passes. Floor tickets are around $200 – $300 on the official ticketing website. Verified resale tickets sell for higher and can cost up to $2800. So, hurry before the official passes sell out to save more.

Ticket Rules

  • Only Ticketmaster mobile-compatible tickets are accepted for entry to the event 
  • Entry is by contactless scanning from your mobile device  
  • Tickets are transferable. 
  • No re-entry to Ohio Stadium after your ticket is scanned in. 

Where is Ohio Stadium?

The football stadium in OSU North Campus is about 5 miles north of downtown Columbus, in the city’s University District. John Glenn Columbus International Airport is a 15-minute drive away.  

How to reach

COTA buses are available for public transportation; lines 1, 2, 8, 22, 31, and 102 serve the Ohio Stadium neighborhood. Taxis and rideshare services are the other options. At the stadium, walk to Borror Drive near the Schottenstein Center for pick-ups. 

If you drive to Buckeye Country Superfest 2023, take exits from 1-71 or SR-315. Check traffic restrictions before starting your trip; some streets near the stadium might be inaccessible during big events. 

Where is the official tailgate event? 

The official Buckeye Country Superfest 2023 Tailgate party is just outside Ohio Stadium. Conner Smith is headlining this year’s event with special guest Drake Milligan.  

Tailgate hours are from 11 am to 3 pm on May 27, 2023. Food trucks and merch will be available at the pre-fest tailgating experience.  

Where is Buckeye Superfest parking at Ohio Stadium? 

Event parking is available at multiple lots and garages around the stadium. The designated Ohio Stadium parking lots open at 8 am on the concert day, and you can pre-purchase parking passes with your Buckey Country Superfest tickets for $50.  

Day-of-show parking is first-come, first-served only; there’s no guarantee that you’ll find a spot closer to the stadium if you leave it till the last minute.  

Overnight parking is allowed for RVs – but you must exit the stadium lot by 10 am on Sunday, May 28.  

ADA/Accessible parking spots are available at Lane Avenue Garage and the lots north of St. John Arena. Shuttles are available from the ADA lots to Gate 26 at the stadium’s east side from 1 pm to an hour after the show ends.
