Ready to Save the World with Avengers: Endgame?

We can’t believe the superhero Marvel franchise’s Avengers conclusion is finally coming to an end today! We are excited but sad to see the final conclusion of Avengers with the Avengers Endgame. Here are a few cool things that are happening in lieu of Avengers Endgame.

The Avengers: Endgame opening night fan events

If you were one of the lucky Avengers fan able to snag tickets for the highly anticipated Avengers: Endgame, not only be one of the first to experience the movie but you will be in for some major Avengers collectible treats. When Endgame tickets went on sale, they sold out within 24 hours, and with multiple site crashes, many were not surprised at the sheer volume of Avengers: Endgame movie tickets that were sold. Selling five times as many presale tickets in the same period of time as Avengers: Endgame’s predecessor, Avengers: Infinity War. With Endgame serving as the culmination of 11 years of storytelling and character development, it will also be the highly anticipated conclusion to Avengers Infinity War.

Those that were able to retrieve tickets for the April 25th showing, will not only be among the first to experience Endgame before the general public, they will also be receiving a collectible coin and be given a special event only concession offer. To keep up with the insane demand of Avengers Endgame ticket sales, theaters have even added show times, including some theaters adding screenings at 4:00 am and 6:30 am April 26th. While most viewers just want to make sure they do not get the movie spoiled from those seeing it April 25th, many are already planning on seeing the movie multiple times, especially if we do have to say goodbye to some or all of the Original 6 Avengers.

Avengers Special Event – Fortnite: Battle Royale

Aprill 22nd, 2019, Fornite tweeted artwork of a character holding Captain America’s vibranium shield. All that was said, “Whatever it takes. 4.25.19 #FortniteXAvengers.” Much as they did last year, the Russo brothers – directors of Avengers Infinity War (and Endgame), reached out to Epic Games about the possibility of a collaboration to coincide with the release of Avengers Infinity War. The Russo brothers had become fans of Fortnite’s battle royale game during the editing process of Avengers Infinity War. While it is not confirmed what the collaboration this time around will reveal, some believe that the game mode, which allowed you to equip the fabled Infinity Gauntlet and transform into Thanos, will be making an epic comeback.

While in the Marvel Universe, the Infinity Gauntlet is a vessel of godlike power and deemed far too powerful in the game. The Infinity Gauntlet was nerfed automatically but it still yielded great powers for players who were able to obtain it at the beginning of the game. With Avengers: Endgame coming out on April 26th, players of Fortnite believe this game mode is debuting on the 25th to help offset those who were not able to nab tickets for the April 25th showing and would like to get in some playtime before seeing the movie. While Epic Game has yet to release an end date for the Avengers event, we can expect a fairly lengthy appearance due to popularity surrounding of the movie.
