A 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 engine and an electric motor will likely power the Zora. This electric motor could potentially add 115 hp and 115 lb-ft of torque to Zora’s performance.
It is estimated that the combined output of this hybrid drivetrain will be around 1,000 horsepower and 1,000 lb-ft of torque. It’s possible that it produces slightly more than that as well. Those figures indicate that the Chevrolet Corvette C8 Zora will most likely have twice the power of the E-Ray.
There is still no official 0-60 mph time for the Zora, but given its massive horsepower figures, that sprint should take no more than 2 seconds. This would put it on par with the Corvette Z06, which is already widely regarded as a high-performance supercar.
