The Transit Security Administration does not enforce the use of face masks on public transportation or in transportation hubs such as SeaTac. Therefore, masks are not mandatory. However, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) strongly advises anyone over the age of two to wear an appropriate, well-fitting mask or respirator over their nose and mouth whenever they are inside an enclosed public mode of transportation (such as an airplane, train, bus, or ferry) or a transportation hub (such as airports, stations, and seaports).

COVID testing options at SeaTac Airport
XpresCheck at SeaTac Airport
Passengers who need to test can find temporary XpresCheck check-in counters in the Baggage Claim area, close to Carousel 9. Please note that this is located before you proceed through security. They offer over 500 exams each day in eight examination rooms. In addition, COVID-19 testing using either the Rapid Molecular COVID-19 Test or the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Test is available. Passengers with confirmed reservations can schedule a screening up to 72 hours before their flight. The testing center is open from 8 am to 6 pm every day.
COVID-19 Testing Kits at SeaTac Airport
A PCR test kit for COVID-19 may be purchased from a Hudson shop or a vending machine for $179. You may have your findings in as little as 24 hours after buying the kit. You just need to provide a saliva sample and send it back in the prepaid FedEx overnight delivery envelope.
