Economy lots of MCO parking

Orlando is home to some of America’s best tourist attractions, like Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Epcot, SeaWorld, and many, many more. These tourist attractions bring in millions of visitors each year from all around the world and are a major standpoint of Florida’s economy. It’s no wonder that Orlando International Airport is considered one of the busiest in the United States. Indeed, in 2018, the airport saw 47, 696, 627 passengers make use of its flight services.

If you happen to be an Orlando local, or even a native of a somewhat nearby town, chances are, at least one or two of those passengers came to “visit” you and decided to take a look at some of the attractions as well. If not…well, they will. Eventually. So get that guest bedroom ready because at some point you will be home base for an acquaintance that wants to see what all the fuss is about with Orlando attractions.

When this happens, you’ll inevitably be asked to pick that person up from the airport. What a drag, right? Getting to and from the airport is no one’s favorite task, but at least with Orlando Airport, parking doesn’t have to be a massive problem. And with the economy option, it doesn’t have to be expensive either.

If you are picking up a friend, or most likely a very distant relative looking for a ride to their Disney hotel, you’ll want to check out short term parking. Because customs and baggage claim can be unpredictable in such a busy airport, it’s a bit risky to drive up to the passenger pickup curb and hope that they’re already there when you arrive. Instead, head over to either the North Park Place Economy Lot or the South Park Place Economy Lot. These lots can be used for either short or long-term parking, but hopefully you’ll only need it for a shorter time as you pick people up at Orlando Airport.

The cost is fairly reasonable for MCO parking since this is the economy lot. There’s a grace period for the first ten minutes, so if it turns out that your friend or family member only brought a carry-on and didn’t have to wait for baggage, or if they decided to sprint to the curbside, you’ll be able to pick them up for free. Chances are, however, that you’ll be parked for at least a few minutes, since you’ll probably be asked to come into the airport to greet them with a ridiculous sign, or at least help them with their luggage. If this is the case, you can expect to pay a mere $5 for 11 minutes to 3 hours. This is quite a reasonable price for MCO airport parking, and it’s probably the cheapest you’ll see anywhere in Orlando anyway.

At these economy lots of MCO parking, you can expect your vehicle to be safe and secure, as the Orlando Police Department – Airport Division regularly patrol the area for any suspicious activity.
