What is the Fuel Fest?
The Fuel Fest was co-founded by LA-based entrepreneur and car collector Chris Lee and Cody Walker. The event that brings together automobile aficionados celebrates the legacy of late actor and car-enthusiast Paul Walker. Cody is the Fast and Furious star’s younger brother and CEO of Reach Out Worldwide (ROWW), which helps first responders improve disaster relief efforts. A portion of the proceeds from Fuel Fest events benefits this non-profit founded by Paul Walker in 2010.

Officially, the first Fuelfest was held in Anaheim, California, in 2019. But it began as the “In Memory of Paul Walker” car show in 2018. Since then, the event has grown globally, with international editions in cities like Tokyo and Abu Dhabi. In the US, Fuel Fest editions are held in South Florida, Texas, California, and Arizona. Salt Lake City has also hosted an edition in the past.
What’s new in 2023?
In 2023, Fuelfest Mid-Atlantic will be a new addition to the US schedule. Dates for the West Palm Beach, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Phoenix events have also been announced. The Tokyo edition returns in August, while details about an event in Europe are yet to be announced.
Car shows and concerts are the main attractions at all Fuel Fest events, along with drag racing, drifting, interactive experiences by sponsors, and Top 16 Drift competitions. Pro drivers will also attend the events as guests; there’ll be limited ride-along and celebrity interaction opportunities. VIP lounges and perks are also available. Additionally, some editions also have short racing/drift courses for fans.
