Check out the curated list of games for some exciting lockdown challenges.

Grand Theft Auto V (PS/Xbox/PC)

GTA 5

Released in 2013, Grand Theft Auto V by Rockstar Games still ranks as one of the most played games even amidst lockdowns. With the ever-changing GTA Online regularly introducing patches and updates, the game never gets boring. Even if you are playing the offline version, the fictional town of Los Santos, based on Los Angeles, is so large than you can explore for months and months from day one itself. Unlike its predecessors, the game’s free-roam does not have any blockades and can be explored entirely from the beginning. You also have minigames like SCUBA diving and paragliding along with several other locations like nightclubs and bars to make sure you can enjoy these locations virtually (something’s better than nothing!). The online version of the game can be used along with Discord in custom servers to enjoy multiplayer GTA action with your friends. From hosting meetups to mini-tournaments inside the game, GTA Online has limitless options for virtual entertainment, making it the ideal game to play during the lockdown.

PUBG, Fortnite, Call of Duty

Battle Royale games have taken the online gaming world by storm. Just Dance

The name of the installation is self-explanatory for this rhythm game developed by Ubisoft.  Just Dance is a motion-based multiplayer dancing game that features a collection of songs – that all have their own dance choreography challenges. Players have to mirror the dance they seby following the commands on screen – matching the timings as well. The points are defined based on the accuracy of the player mirroring the onscreen moves. As hitting the gyms or even going for a morning jog is restricted in several parts of the country, Just Dance can provide the best alternative to burn some extra calories off. Some of these fast-paced choreographies require you to have reasonable amounts of stamina to complete successfully. The only downside of the game is that you either need motion controllers or camera devices like Kinect or Wii Remote to play the game.
