Being the largest electric car manufacturer in the world, everything surrounding a Tesla is of great interest to the general public. Be it its performance figures, battery concerns, charging speeds, and the various new features they frequently roll out. Tesla is a powerhouse of EV innovation, often forming a template for other manufacturers to emulate and improve. But have they made any innovations on the weight reduction front? Seems like they have.

Tesla makes some of the most efficient vehicles on the planet, thanks to their most modern manufacturing methods, like large die-casting used for chassis manufacturing. This, clubbed with an all-aluminum build, has impacted the car’s weight by a significant margin.
