Hyundai Ioniq 5 is the first model developed on the Hyundai Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). Performance 

A 225 horsepower, single-motor, rear-drive Ioniq 5 and a 320 horsepower, all-wheel-drive, dual-motor vehicle with an estimated 266-mile range are available. The AWDs can power up to 74kW + 165 kW and produce torque up to 446 lb.-ft. The RWDs can power up to 168 kW and produce torque up to 258 lb.-ft. The 225 hp model can propel the Ioniq 5 to 60 mph in 7.4 seconds. Compared to the RWD, the all-wheel-drive version is much more powerful, with 320 hp that can go from 0- 60 mph in 4.5 seconds, as per reports.   

Interiors 

The interior of the Ioniq 5 is a high-tech area with a digital dashboard and lots of eco-friendly materials. One fancy feature is a head-up display with augmented reality that can project navigation instructions onto the windscreen. The all-electric small crossover makes the most of its packing by having a fully flat floor for efficient passenger and baggage rooms. While the Ioniq is charging, passengers may unwind in the front seats, which also recline and have footrests. The 5 features more front and back seat passenger space thanks to a longer wheelbase. The 2023 SE Standard Range starts at $41,450. The SE starts at $45,500, while the SEL Trim starts at $47,450. In comparison, the Limited trim starts at $52,600. 

Charging  

The IONIQ 5 offers the longest all-electric range of any Hyundai vehicle, with a range of up to an EPA-estimated 303 miles on a single charge. Additionally, it is among the electric vehicles with the quickest charging times. In fact, you can increase your range by up to 68 miles in just 5 minutes using an 800V DC ultra-fast charger. 

With 800V DC charging, the EV can be charged from 10-80% in 18 minutes. Using Level 3- 400V DC charging, the EV can be charged from 10-80% in 25 minutes. With Standard Level 2 Р240V DC charging, the EV can be charged from 10-100% in 7 hours. 

Your driving range can be increased by braking. Regenerative brakes convert wheel rotations into power, which is then stored in the battery for later use when you coast or brake. The 2023 IONIQ 5 comes with two years’ worth of complimentary 30-minute charging sessions.¬†

Fuel Economy  

The Ioniq 5 gets a combined EPA rating of 114 MPGe with the long-range battery and rear-wheel drive; adding all-wheel drive reduces that estimate to 101 MPGe (up from 98 previously).
