There are nine passenger terminals around JFK International’s Central Terminal Area. The terminals and their parking lots are separated into four color-coded divisions. Terminals 1, 2, and 3 are located in the green quadrant. The blue quadrant houses Terminals 4E and 4W. Terminals 5 (currently not in use), 6, and 7 are located in the orange quadrant. Terminals 8 and 9 are located in the red quadrant. This information is also shown on huge, color-coded signage on the Van Wyck and JFK Expressways as they approach the Central Terminal Area.
