Everyone loves Los Angeles and its beautiful weather, lovely beaches, and iconic landmarks. What everyone does not love is the traffic, and how difficult it can be to park in LA. Fortunately, we’re here to offer some insights into the pesky parking issues, and most notably, the most ticketed streets in all of Los Angeles. Spoiler alert: Electric avenue can drain your pocketbooks pretty quick.
Overall, 153,112 parking tickets were given out in August 2021. This beats San Francisco parking tickets by 62,059.
Most of the Los Angeles Parking Ticket are averaging $73, and include violations like opting to park in a no-parking zone. Parking in a red zone will cost you $93, while parking too close to the fire hydrant will set you back by $68. Expired meter violations cost $63.
Where it gets a bit steeper is if one decides to cruise into a disabled parking spot. This will cost you $363, not to mention that it’s just not a cool thing to do.
If you drive a commercial vehicle, your tickets can get extremely costly. A commercial vehicle that parks over the time limit can result in a violation of $1000 bucks. Ouch.
