About Orlando International (MCO) Airport

Orlando International Airport is a major airport in Orlando, Florida. It is one of Florida’s busiest airports and ranks as the eleventh busiest airport in the country. With more than 45,000,000 passengers flying in and out of the airport, it has earned the title as the busiest airport. The airport is the hub for Silver Airways and the main city for JetBlue, Spirit, Southwest, and Frontier. The airport serves 135 local and international flights.

Inside the airport, you will find one large terminal building, separated by two terminals, with four concourses, which you can access via people movers, and has 129 gates. Terminal A, located on the north side, and Terminal B, located on the south side, offers passengers with check-in and baggage claim facilities. The American, United, and Spirit operate from Airside 3.

Airside 4 features gates 70 to 99 and is the main international arrivals concourse. There are two clubs located at Airside 4, The Club at MCO and the Delta Air Lines Sky Club. Airlines that operate from Airside 4 include Air Canada Rouge, Air Canada, Aer Lingus, Bahamasair, Air Transat, Caribbean Airlines, British Airways, delta, Edelweiss, Emirates, Eurowings, Lufthansa, LATAM, Sun Country, Thomas Cook Airlines, Norwegian Long Haul, Sunwing Airlines, WestJet, Volaris, and Virgin Atlantic. Gates 80 to 87 are designated for international arrivals whereas gates 90,92,94, and 96 will be used as swing gates once completed.

Orlando International Airport also has renovations underway for Airside terminals 1 and 33, which established in 1981. Once renovated, the terminals will feature contemporary architecture elements such as skylights and improved concession areas.

Additionally, they plan to change the mechanical and electrical systems in each terminal. They completed the project in 2010 with British Airways announcing their plans to establish a shared lounge in Airside 4 in 2012.
