Michael Jordan’s Car Collection : The Jump Man’s Garage

The jump man, Michael Jordan, is the greatest NBA player of all time.  He was ranked the season’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) five times in his entire career. His commitment to his sport made him a billionaire. After all, the very first in NBA history. Michael Jordan loves automobiles. He has some legit Chevys, Ferraris, and Bentleys in his garage. Aston Martin DB9 Volante

Jordan’s Aston Martin DB9 is the convertible version of the usual Aston Martin DB9 coupe. This fast car has a 5.9-liter V12 engine that makes 450 horsepower and can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.9 seconds. The price of the Aston Martin DB9 Volante is $215,000.  

Chevrolet C4 Corvette

It’s no secret that Michael Jordan likes Chevrolet cars, so this isn’t even news. In exchange for his first endorsement deal with a Chevrolet dealership, he got this amazing 1984 C4 Corvette. It has a 5.7L V8 engine. MJ’s love for this sports car is clear from the “JUMP 23” license plate he made for it in Illinois. The 1984 Chevrolet C4 Corvette costs around $20,000.

Michael Jordan also owns a Corvette C5, a classier and more beautiful version of the C4. This amazing sports car also has a 5.7L V8 engine with 345 horsepower from 0 to 60 mph in 5 seconds. The price of a Chevrolet Corvette C5 is around $45,000.

Two things show that the Jump man loves this car. First, the license plates have “MJ JJ” written on them. Second, he modeled the Air Jordan 6 after the car. As the cruise version of the famous Porsche 935 racecar, the 1989 Porsche 930 Turbo Cabriolet has great specs, and Michael Jordan’s love of cars won’t be satisfied until he buys one. This beauty has a flat-six turbocharged engine and can go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds. The 1989 Porsche 930 Turbo Cabriolet costs around $200,000. 

Porsche 993 Turbo S

Michael Jordan’s garage also has a 993 Turbo S. The bright red color goes well with his collection of Chicago Bulls jerseys. He bought this beauty before he said for the second time that he was giving up basketball. This particular speed machine can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 184.3 mph. Jordan spent $475k on a Porsche 911 997 GT3 RS 4.0, one of his most special purchases. This gorgeous car is in a class of its own, and it’s just one more of his enviable collection of Porsches.

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Gullwing is another beautiful supercar that Michael Jordan has in his garage. Even though this beast cost the superstar $200,000, it was worth it.

Ford GT

This is yet another beautiful car that MJ has in his garage. The Ford GT has a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 engine, which makes it one of Jordan’s fastest cars. The Ford GT costs around $450,000.

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano

MJ also owns a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, which is on this list, along with other Ferraris. This very fast car has a 6-liter V12 engine that makes 612 horsepower and moves quickly. This is a ride for the rich and powerful, for sure. The price of a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is $300,000. 

Ferrari 488 Pista Spider

This is another Ferrari that Michael Jordan has in his garage. The bright yellow 488 Pista Spider goes very fast because it has a 3.9-Liter twin-turbo V8 engine that makes 710 horsepower. And can go from 0 to 60mph in just 2.85 seconds. The car costs around $350,000.  

Ferrari 550 Maranello

Jordan won his first championship, and he bought himself a Ferrari. Winning more championships led to more rides, and the Ferrari 550 Maranello is one of them. This car has a 5.5-Liter V12 engine that can reach a top speed of 199 mph and makes 478 horsepower. He paid a huge $175,000 for this beautiful car. 

Ferrari 512 TR

Michael Jordan likes to treat himself, especially when he hits new goals. When he won his first championship with the Bulls in 1991, he used the money to buy a beautiful 1992 Ferrari 512 TR. This beautiful car has a 4.9L engine with 12 cylinders that makes 422 horsepower and can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.8 seconds. The 1992 Ferrari 512 TR is priced at around $221,000.

Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir

Even to own a “regular” Veyron, you need a lot of money, but Jordan reportedly went one step further and bought a one-of-12 special edition Veyron Sang Noir, which means “black blood.” The brand says the car’s all-black exterior was based on the Bugatti Type 57S Atlantic and cost him $2.25 million. By buying a Sang Noir, Jordan may have become a member of a very exclusive club, but he’s not the only famous person to do so.

When you look at MJ’s other rare cars, a Cadillac roadster might seem like a surprise. The car costs more than $100,000. The car was modified with custom sill plates with Jordan’s signature etched into aluminum. At the time, it was said that Jordan had never bought an American car before the XLR-V, even though he had been seen driving many Chevys during his playing career. 

Bentley Continental GT

After the Porsche 930 Turbo Flat Nose and the Ferrari 550 Maranello, MJ’s Bentley Continental GT was the third car to inspire a shoe design. The Conti’s soft leather interior and silky-smooth suspension inspired the diamond-quilted Air Jordan XXI.
