About Milwaukee General Mitchell International (MKE) Airport

The General Mitchell International Airport or Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport is a civil-military airport that is 5 miles south of downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The airport caters to the central Milwaukee area and the suburbs nearby.

The airport is esteemed as the primary mode of air commute for passengers located in Milwaukee. In fact, in recent times, it was also rated as the third busiest airport in Chicago, after O’Hare and Midway. Passengers who intend on traveling nationally or internationally from the suburbs of Chicago and Northern Illinois also use General Mitchell International Airport.

Being one of the top 3 airports in Chicago, MKE welcomes much traffic throughout the year. As a result, many passengers, particularly first-time travelers, raise concerns about the parking services out of fear of getting late or missing their flight.
