The home ground of the Oklahoma City Thunder: Paycom Center 

Oklahoma City Thunder plays their home games at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City. In addition, It is also home to the Oklahoma City Blue of the NBA- G League. It was originally opened to the public in 2002 as Ford Center. The Thunder home ground has donned two other names, Oklahoma City Arena and Chesapeake Energy Arena, for sponsorship reasons. HR-Payroll services provider Paycom purchased the stadium naming rights in 2021. 

The 5,81,000 sq. ft. Paycom center can accommodate 18,203 spectators on an NBA gameday. The stadium includes facilities such as restaurants, clubs, suites, and office space. In addition, the center also has NBA-specific amenities such as an NBA press room, NBA-exclusive locker rooms, broadcast systems, and an NBA store. The stadium is also ADA-friendly.

How to get to Paycom Center  

Paycom Center is at 100 W Reno Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73102, west of EK Gaylord and Reno. Interstate 40 and 35 are not too far away from the Paycom Center, and you could make use of the various exits to reach along the highway to reach the stadium. Is there tailgating at Paycom Center? 

Although there are no official tailgating zones in Paycom Center, spectators are welcome to gather in the parking lots and indulge in pregame parties. In addition, there are many bars near the venue, like Budweiser Brew House, Whiskey Chicks, Drinkz, Aria Lounge, etc. Flint, Bricktown Brewery Restaurant, Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Restaurant and Bar, and Mahogany Prime Steakhouse are some of the popular restaurant options in the area, where you can find Thunder fans.  

Is there on-site parking at Paycom Center?   

Even though there is a parking facility attached to the Paycom Centre at Lot 320 – Reno& Robinson, most of the parking happens at the underground parking facility of the Cox Convention Center next to the stadium. Get ready to spend around $30 to park in one of these garages. However, If you’re on a tight budget, you could also try parking at some of the free parking spots on the south side of the Paycom Center. In case you’re unable to find one, consider parking at cheap off-site parking lots near the venue.   

In addition, there is also a surface parking lot on the south side of the arena. Some spots are also earmarked for disabled fans with a valid parking permit.
