Old Settler’s Music Festival is a complete family festival with roots in music, workshops, art, craft, and kid’s activities. It has been held annually at a small town in Texas ever since its inception in 1987. The lineup will feature artists from genres including Americana, bluegrass, country, folk, blues, and others. Camping is also an integral part of the Old Settler’s Festival experience.

In 2023, you can participate in the music festival from Thursday, April 20, to Sunday, April 23. During these four days, there will be multiple performances at the festival grounds along with other activities. 

Where can I watch Old Settler’s Music Festival 2023? 

Every year the music festival is hosted by Tilmon in Texas. The Old Settler’s Music Festival 2023 location has two stages and multiple campgrounds, including a primitive camping space near Maggie’s Meadow.

How much are the Old Settler’s Music Festival 2023 tickets? 

You can choose from a variety of tickets for the music festival. The General Admission tickets are available in four types starting with single-day, two-day, three-day, and four-day tickets. Single-day tickets will give you access to Day Lot parking. 

If you want an overall experience with camping and many other perks, purchase the ‘All-Inclusive Platinum’ passes. These are priced at $850 each and come with one camping vehicle permit, meal tickets, and more. You can purchase tickets through the box office between April 16 to April 25 during fixed periods. In addition, you can also purchase tickets online.  

Where are Old Settler’s Festival Grounds? 

The event venue is 1616 FM 3158, Dale, Texas 78616. It is a small one-building town by the name of Tilmon. 

How to reach Old Settler’s Festival Grounds

If you are driving down to the festival venue, there are multiple routes to choose from. For example, if you start from Austin, you can drive 49 miles through I-35 South to reach the venue in nearly 52 minutes. Another alternative is to drive via FM812. You will cover 48.7 miles and arrive at the Old Settler’s Festival Grounds in less than an hour. 

Similarly, if you start in San Antonio, Texas, drive via I-10 East. The journey is more than 70 miles long and will take a little over an hour to complete. Lockhart is one the closest towns to the venue, more than 15 miles away. 

Can I camp at the festival grounds? 

Yes. Camping is part of the festival experience. If you are bringing your RV, make sure to get a 3 or 4-day General Admission ticket for the festival. Additional electrical permits must be bought if necessary.  

But make sure you only camp in designated areas. In addition, the festival organizers ask you not to make any changes to the campsites like clearing grass or cutting trees. In addition, you have to bring your own fuel and firewood for your campsite. 

Is there parking at the Old Settler’s Music Festival 2023 venue? 

Yes. There are different places for parking on the festival grounds. You need separate parking passes for the campsite and for day parking. If you have a multiple-day GA pass, you can park at the Meadow lot if you are camping. 

Additionally, all Banjo or Collings Campgrounds vehicles must have a Camping Vehicle Permit. In addition, you can get lot parking by purchasing a General Admission festival pass.
