Even with an official parking garage, you are not guaranteed a parking spot when you drive up. Since most events here tend to be packed, the parking spots will be snapped up before you know it! However, that doesn’t mean you need to cancel your plans or spend time on a long, winding hunt for parking. There are many Oregon Convention Center parking options nearby – some more convenient than others!

Pro tip: Off-site parking lots near Oregon Convention Center offer much more value for money than official or street parking. We’d recommend pre-booking a spot at a nearby garage within walking distance so you can enjoy your day with out hassle!

What are the Oregon Convention Center parking cost and hours?

The underground garage opens daily at 6 a.m. The Oregon Convention Center parking cost is $12 per vehicle, charged on entry. However, it cannot accommodate trucks with trailers, RVs, campers, and other oversized vehicles. You also cannot park overnight. Check the official website for any changes in parking hours or rates.

A drawback of official parking is that it is not very convenient and can get increasingly hard to find when there are events at the center. Parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis, so you may not always get a spot when you drive up! You will need to know where to find alternative parking nearby, as we’ve explained below.

Street parking can also be pretty stressful to find because you have to compete with other drivers to find the closest spots to the Center! Even if you do find a spot, you’ll have to deal with multiple parking rules and regulations that can make life hard. Most visitors park at affordable off-site parking lots nearby that cost between $3-8 per hour.
