Planning to visit Vegas soon? Skip the usual and get a pass to Punk Rock Bowling 2023 at Las Vegas Event Center in the last week of May. It’s not just any Vegas music festival – there’s much more than live performances by some of the best punk rockers. Start your day with pool parties, then hop on a shuttle to the Bowling Tournament, and finally, head back downtown to the festival grounds after noon. Once the stage shows wind up each night, the party continues at Late Night Club Shows.
Excited? Get this – over 40 bands are playing on two stages across four days. Additionally, you have food trucks, a vendor alley, and more to check out at the festival. And you need to figure out how to get around all this during the weekend. So, whether you are flying in or planning a road trip, here’s all you need to know. Don’t forget parking – downtown Vegas isn’t the place to try your luck in finding affordable last-minute parking spots.
What is Punk Rock Bowling?
Punk Rock Bowling (PRB) is an annual festival that brings together punk rock “tribes” to celebrate the music and culture that defines the community. The event debuted during Presidents Day Weekend in 1999 and has since grown into a multi-day festival featuring live outdoor music performances, a bowling tournament, pool parties, late-night club events, and more.
In the inaugural edition, only 27 teams participated in the bowling tournament, and now they host up to 200. The all-ages outdoor music festival has also brought out the best of old-school punk and upcoming punk artists to perform live in Las Vegas. Me First and the Gimme Gimmes are the first band to perform at a PRB event. Over the years, the lineup has grown to over 100 artists/bands with the addition of club shows at venues across downtown Vegas.
When is Punk Rock Bowling Festival in 2023?
The upcoming edition of PRB is from May 26 – 29, 2023.
Punk Rock Bowling 2023 kicks off with a Late Night Club Show at 8 pm on Friday – May 26. The next three days will also have late-night shows at various venues near the festival grounds from 10.30 pm – 2.30 pm.
The Bowling Tournament starts at 11 am on Saturday (May 27) and Sunday (May 28). Simultaneously, the Pool Parties at Downtown Grand are from 11 am to 1 pm. Doors to the main music festival at the Las Vegas Event Center open at 1 pm daily from May 27-29, and the last performance winds up y 10 pm.

Who is performing at the Punk Rock Bowling 2023 festival?
The Punk Rock Bowling 2023 lineup has 42 bands performing at the main festival. Rancid, Bad Religion, Dropkick Murphys, The Interrupters, Suicidal Tendencies, Channel 3, Noi!se, Ultra Bomb, Fea, and The Crowd are some of the top liners.
The festival will have two stages – the Main Stage and Monster Stage. Seven bands will perform on each stage daily for three days. See set times here.

What are PRB Late Night Club Shows?
Punk Rock Bowling keeps the party going at their Late Night Club Shows that start after the main festival winds up each day. These late-night shows at downtown Vegas venues also feature old-school and new artists in a more intimate setting than the large outdoor festival stages.
In 2023, Punk Rock Bowling late-night shows are at Citrus Lounge, Fremont Country Club, Backstage Bar and Billiards, Place at 7th, The Usual Place, and Sand Dollar Downtown. The 4-day lineup features over 100 bands, and tickets are sold separately for $18 – $25 per show. The club events start around midnight, except on the opening day of PRB 2023, and are 21+ only.

How much do Punk Rock Bowling 2023 tickets cost?
PRB ticket rates start at $90. Only single-day GA passes are available on the official website, with just a month to go for the event. Organizers warn against purchasing sold-out 3-Day GA, and VIP passes from unauthorized third-party sites. Get your tickets here.

Generally, Punk Rock Bowling is an all-ages event. But you must be 21+ to register for the Bowling Tournament or attend the after-parties. Kids under eight have free entry to the main music festival, and all ticket holders under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Are there any hotel packages?
Punk Rock Bowling 2023 Festival has official hotel room package deals at Downtown Grand and Golden Nugget. Downtown Grand is hosting the official pool parties, while the shuttle to the Bowling Tournament leaves from Golden Nugget. However, these deals are only for 3 nights/4 nights stays; you’ll have to book directly with the hotel to extend your stay.
If you plan to stay elsewhere, PRB recommends choosing a downtown hotel as all the venues, including late-night club shows, are within 10-15-minute walking distance of each other. So, you can get around on foot if you stay nearby and save on parking and other expenses.
