The amount given for the video ad is $8,000, and the amount given for the outdoor and radio ads is $2,000. This work can be a movie, a piece of art, an essay, or anything else that would get other students interested in driving safely.

To stop reckless and distracted driving, the Create Real Impact Contest gives students a chance to win a $1,500 grant by showing how they would stop car accidents caused by reckless and distracted driving. Students can send in an entry in one of four categories: creative writing, video, visual design, or music. Impact Teen Drivers is the group that pays for it.

- Students must be U.S. citizens or have a legal right to live there.
- Ages 14 to 22 are welcome.
- Students must attend a full-time high school, trade school, college, or university that the government recognizes. Some states do not let high school kids enter the video category.

Getting Real About Distracted Driving
The Getting Real About Distracted Driving scholarship is a $1,500 award for safe driving. It is given by Comedy Defensive Driving, a group that works to improve driving safety and education. Students are asked to make an ad that warns people about the risks of distracted driving. Basically, the ad encourages the readers not to text, drink, eat, or do anything else that could distract them while driving. Students can make commercials, PSAs, songs, billboards, and other ads. Students can focus on one type of distracted driving or distracted driving.

Digital Responsibility’s Don’t Text and Drive Scholarship
The Don’t Text and Drive Scholarship allows young people to win $1,000 to help them understand how dangerous it is to text and drive. Ten finalists will be chosen based on the content of a 140-character message about texting and driving. They will then be asked to submit a 500-1,000-word essay to win. Digital Responsibility gives the money for the grant.
Requirements or Qualifications for Eligibility
- Students must be U.S. citizens or legal residents.
- Students must be in their first, second, third, or fourth year of high school or their first, second, third, or fourth year of college or graduate school. Students who go homeschooled are also qualified.

In the Driver’s Seat
The In the Driver’s Seat safe driving award will give out $3,000 in scholarships to students who enter an essay contest about how to be safe drivers. In 750 words, students will answer several questions about the importance of being a safe and well-informed driver. Two winners will be chosen for Staff Favorite, and Most Voted For in three contest rounds. This gives six students a chance to win $500 awards each. The National Driving and Traffic School is the one that gives the grant.
Requirements or Qualifications for Eligibility
- Students from the U.S., Canada, and worldwide can enter.
- Students must be in high school, college, or university at the time of application.

Students must answer the question, “How has distracted driving changed your life?” in a 1,000-word essay. What ideas do you have to make young drivers aware of how dangerous it is to drive while sidetracked and stop them from doing it? Kanoski Bresney gives the money for the grant.

- Students must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited U.S. college or university,
- The student must be a U.S. citizen, a senior in high school who will start college or university in the fall, and have a GPA of at least 3.0.
