From global icons to upcoming talents, Shaky Knees sets the stage for over 50 bands every year. Undoubtedly, it is one of the biggest events in the city and a much-anticipated annual music festival in the southeast.
When is Shaky Knees 2022?
2022 Shaky Knees Music Festival at Central Park Atlanta will go live from 29 April to 1 May. Doors open at 11:30 am on all three days and close at 11:00 pm – except on the last day*. The final performance at this year’s festival will conclude by 10:00 pm on Sunday.

Where is the Shaky Knees Music Festival held?
Atlanta is home to the Shaky Knees Music Festival. However, over the years, it has changed venues within the city. Central Park hosted Shaky Knees for the first time in 2015, raising its capacity to 40K visitors. The following year, the festival moved to Centennial Olympic Park.
Shaky Knees returned to Atlanta’s Central Park in 2018 and remained there. This year, the popular music festival has four stages set across the 17-acre downtown venue.
If you’ve never been to this neighborhood, make sure to arrive a bit early. Traffic can play spoilsport during a major event like Shaky Knees. Keep in mind that on-site parking is not available* unless you are willing to risk street parking. Expect a 5–10-minute walk from any off-street parking facility near Central Park Atlanta.

How much do Shaky Knees tickets cost?
Shaky Knees Music Festival 2022 tickets cost $100 – $7500*. The pricing is based on multiple tiers for General Admission and Premium levels. As tickets in each tier sell out, the rates increase; make sure to get yours early for the lowest rate.
3-Days General Admission tickets for Shaky Knees 2022 are now available for a Tier 3 rate of $220. GA+ tickets will cost you $430 for three days. Premium levels – VIP, Platinum, and Ultimate – come with additional perks and costs up to $7500. Check out the perks for these premium levels here.
Everyone above the age of 8 needs a ticket to attend the Shaky Knees Music Festival in Atlanta. Those below the age of 18 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.

Formerly known as Bedford-Pine Park, Atlanta’s Central Park is in the Fourth Ward West neighborhood. Though it is easy to reach, it’s best to plan your visit when you are headed to the Shaky Knees Music Festival.
How to Reach
The closest MARTA station is about a 15-minute walk from the festival gates. Ridesharing is a better option during the event. Use the address – 395 Piedmont Ave NE – to reach the official drop-off zone between Pine Street and Ralph McGill Blvd. The rideshare drop-off/pick-up zone is right outside the West entrance, near the Box Office*.
Shaky Knees Music Festival Parking
Festival organizers haven’t announced any official parking facilities for Shaky Knees 2022. On-site parking for the event is generally not available. There’s plenty of street parking around Central Park in downtown Atlanta. However, for the safety of your car, park at a secure off-street facility nearby.
Several Atlanta parking lots and garages are within walking distance of the Shaky Knees 2022 venue. But you’ll need to beat the rush by reserving a spot. Driving up to the nearest garage on the day of the event is a bad idea.
The Atlanta Civic Center Lot is closest to the West Entrance of the festival. It is a cash-only surface lot on Piedmont Avenue. You’ll find more downtown Atlanta parking lots and garages online.
