After touring UAE, South Africa, and Oceania, Sting is on for a 6-date Las Vegas Residency at Caesars Palace begins in April, before heading out to Europe. All you need to know is right here – Sting: My Songs USA Tour tickets, schedule, setlist, and more.
Sting: My Songs – the massive world tour by the 17-time Grammy-winning singer/songwriter has come a long way since its first concert back in May 2019. Even though it was postponed and rescheduled multiple times due to the pandemic, the show is going strong and continues to gain immense success.
This year, The Police frontman returns to Vegas for Residency #3 of the My Songs Tour and will perform six nights at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Here’s all you need to know about the upcoming Sting concerts:
Sting: My Songs – The Tour So Far
The world tour in support of Sting’s 14th studio album – My Songs, released in May 2019 – kicked off from La Seine Musicale in Paris on May 28, 2019. It was preceded by pre-tour shows at State Farm Hidalgo Arena and AT&T Stadium in Texas on May 10 and May 12.
The first European leg – spanning over two months – concluded at Monte Carlo on August 1, 2019. A brief 8-date North American leg followed before Sting and the band headed to Asia and then Europe again. In November 2019, the tour returned to the United States and concluded at The Met Philadelphia.
Although the Sting: My Songs tour was scheduled to resume in 2020, it was postponed twice due to the unprecedented COVID-19 health emergency. As a result, the Las Vegas Residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace was rescheduled. The 22-date European leg and another show at The Met Philadelphia in November 2020 were also postponed.
In January 2021, the Las Vegas Residency #1 with additional dates was rescheduled again. Later, in September of that year, Sting performed a European Unique leg of the My Songs Tour in Taormina – Italy, Athens – Greece, and Dallas – Texas. The rescheduled 8-date Las Vegas Residency #1 also went as planned between October 29 to November 13, 2021.
The tour continued in 2022 with the first show of the year in March. But the North American leg first kicked off from Halifax, Canada, on May 2. The rescheduled Las Vegas Residency #2 began on June 3, followed by another European leg. Later, Sting returned to the US with concerts at the Ravinia Festival in Chicago’s Highland Park. His last concert in the country was in Bangor, Maine, on September 11, 2022.
The Bridge – New Album Release
In November 2021, Sting released another studio album – The Bridge. It is his first rock album in five years, and the songs were all written during the pandemic. Officially quoted as” written in a year of the global pandemic, personal loss, separation, disruption, lockdown, and extraordinary social and political turmoil.” The album was well-received, and the new original songs were added to the ongoing tour setlist. However, the tour name remained unchanged as the Sting: My Songs Tour.
