What is Summer Smash Festival 2023?
Summer Smash Festival is an annual hip hop music festival in Chicago, Illinois. Chicago-based SPKRBX produces the event and Cole Bennett’s multimedia company Lyrical Lemonade hosts it. Their mission is to promote upcoming artists and top trending artists usually headline the lineup to attract the fans. Last year, Wiz Kalifa, Post Malone, and over 60 others performed live at Douglass Park Golf Course, after the organizers promised a bigger and better event than ever before.
In 2023, Summer Smash is taking it up a notch again with a new venue near Chicago. The 3-day festival will have its usual three live stages – one inside the Seatgeek Stadium and two outside on padded turf fields. You’ll also find food and drink, art installations, and VIP experiences at the new venue in Bridgeview, IL.
What are the Summer Smash Festival 2023 dates?
June 23 to June 25
Gates open at 3 pm on Friday, June 23. On Saturday and Sunday, gate open earlier at 1 pm*. Separate VIP entry is available for VIP pass holders.
What is the Summer Smash 2023 lineup?
Kid Cudi, Future, and Playboi Carti are the headliners for each day. Around 60 artists* will take the stage at Summer Smash Festival 2023, including special guests like $uicideboy$ and Lil Uzi Vert. Other names on the lineup include Ice Spice, Glorilla, Juicy J, Luh Tyler, Trippie Redd, and more. You can expect some exciting local talent to be part of the Summer Smash Festival lineup 2023. Summer Smash Festival venue
Douglass Park Golf Course in Chicago will no longer host the Summer Smash Festival. The event is moving into Seatgeek Stadium in Bridgeview – a suburb about 15 miles southwest of Chicago.
Seatgeek Stadium* is the home of NWSL’s Chicago Red Stars and MLS Next Pro’s Chicago Fire FC II. Chicago State Cougars also play at the soccer-specific stadium. It was originally called Toyota Park and can seat up to 20,000. The Bridgeview venue also hosts a number of summer concerts, festivals, and other special events.
How to Reach Seatgeek Stadium
Seatgeek Stadium is only a 30-minute drive from Chicago via the I-55. Chicago Midway International Airport is only 10-minutes away. If you are arriving by CTA train, the Midway Orange Line Station is the closest – 5 miles from the stadium.

Parking is available onsite at the Summer Smash Festival 2023 venue*. VIP Diamond pass holders get complimentary parking for all three days. Other can purchase 3-day parking passes from the official event website.
