Swifties, it’s time to hear Tay Tay say, “It’s me, hi!” for real at sold-out stadium shows across the country. After five years of rumors, controversies, crashing websites, and much waiting, 20 US cities are ready to host the Taylor Swift Eras Tour. So, on the eve of the grand launch at State Farm Stadium, let’s go over everything you need to know about the upcoming shows.

Do you remember Swifties crashing the Ticketmaster website last year? 2.4 million concert tickets were sold on November 15, 2022, breaking an all-time record! All 52 upcoming Taylor Swift Eras Tour dates are sold out. The 20 venues on the tour’s US leg also have new ticket sale records. But record-breaking aside, Taylor Swift is rightly recognized as one of the greatest popstars of our time. Despite criticisms and controversies, her influence is undeniable. And her tour announcements, as Billboard puts it, are “chaos-inducing.”

Getting a Taylor Swift Eras concert ticket might have been pure chaos. But if you have won that battle, it’s time to enjoy the prize. No time for drama on the show day – just stay in a zone of calm till it’s time to sing your heart out to songs from every Taylor Swift era. So, while you still have the time, plan your trip to the stadium, book parking nearby, and figure out how to find your seats swiftly.

You’ll also need an exit plan. The after-concert energy will stay high; you may want to grab a bite. Check out the restaurants near the stadium, make a reservation, and plan your parking accordingly. Official event parking will likely be restricted to the concert duration. Try cheaper off-stadium garages and lots for better deals.

Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour: All You Need to Know

The much-awaited #TSTheErasTour is her grand return to US stadiums since the 38-date Reputation schedule wrapped up in early 2018. Taylor might not have toured since then, but no pandemic has stopped her from bringing out new music to her devoted fans. Four studio albums – Lover, Folklore, Evermore, and Midnights – have made it to our playlists since then, and all will be celebrated on the Eras tour. Don’t forget Taylor’s versions of Fearless and Red – re-recorded and better than ever! Taylor described her 2023 Eras tour as a “journey through all of [her] musical eras.”

Is Taylor Swift going on tour in 2023?

A little late to the party? Yes, she is going on a tour and bringing back all her musical eras to the stage. 20 stadiums across the US are hosting record-breaking shows from March to August 2023. International dates and venues are TBA, but Europe looks certain. There are also rumors about Miss Americana performing in Argentina and Brazil.

How often does Taylor Swift tour?

As of 2022, Taylor Swift has headlined five concert tours; the Eras Tour starting in March 2023, is her sixth and second all-stadium tour. 2018 Reputation Stadium Tour was her last time on the road before the COVID-19 pandemic struck. It broke the record for the highest-grossing tour in the US.

In early 2020, Taylor canceled Lover Fest – a tour to support Lover, her seventh studio album released in 2019. After much speculation from fans and media, Taylor announced Eras Tour in November 2022.

What does ‘eras’ mean in Taylor Swift’s tour?

Taylor has described her upcoming tour as a journey through her album eras. So, it’s about more than the albums yet to get a tour. The 33-year-old has reinvented her work and image since releasing her debut album at 16. The fans associate each era of her music career with a distinct style, like the edgy Reputation era or the teenage country-pop Fearless era.

What music will Taylor Swift play on eras tour?

Expect everything! So, it will be an epic show no matter which Taylor Swift era is your favorite. The official Taylor Swift Eras Tour setlist will be clear only when she gets on stage. But there are social media claims about rehearsals in Glendale, and everything from “You Belong With Me” to “Anti-Hero” was overhead. This makes sense as Taylor herself confirmed the tour celebrates all her eras. However, songs from the four new studio albums and two re-recorded albums she released after 2018 will likely get the spotlight, along with some of her greatest hits.

How much do Taylor Swift tour 2023 tickets cost?

Taylor pre-announced ticket rates for her Eras Tour; $49-$499 for GA and $199-$899 for VIP. The shows don’t have a platinum ticket option, and all available seats were sold out months before the tour kicked off. But it’s never too late for the desperate – you can still join the queue for resale tickets on Ticketmaster and other online ticketing platforms. However, resale prices are much higher than actual rates, and with premium add-ons, Taylor Swift concert ticket rates can go over $5K. On the other hand, resale ticket prices could also drop as you inch closer to the concert dates.
