How to get to EWR Airport

You need to take NJ TRANSIT or Amtrak to Newark Liberty International Airport Station if traveling from Newark or NYC Penn Station. The trains depart every 3-5 minutes every day from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. and around every 15 minutes between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. AirTrain service is free while connecting between the airport terminals, hotels shuttle areas, parking lots, and rental car facilities. Getting into an AirTrain charges you $7.75 when you buy an NJ Transit or Amtrak ticket to Newark airport station.  

Using Newark Airport Express Bus 

Boarding a Newark Airport Express Bus is another convenient and affordable way to reach EWR Airport. The Express Bus offers service between NYC and Newark Airport. Every bus stops at three New York stops – Grand Central Station, Bryant Park, and Port Authority Bus Terminal. The bus service operates throughout the year from 5 a.m. till 1 a.m. it costs you around $18 to reach the airport.

Hiring a taxi/rideshare service is best to avoid using public transportation services or driving to Newark Airport. Taxi service can cost you anything around $15-18 from Newark city to EWR Airport. Short-term parking at EWR Airport 

The Terminal Parking lots and Daily parking lot offer short-term parking at Newark Airport. You can locate the short-term Terminal Parking lots directly across Terminals A, B, and Terminal C Garage. Parking in the short-term lots costs you $5.25 for the first 30 minutes. The rate increases by $5.25 every 30 minutes till it reaches the daily maximum rate. Getting a long-term parking spot in the Daily Parking lot charges you $38 for a day. The Terminal Parking lots charge you $44 for a day’s parking. The Economy Lot (P6) lets you park your car for more than a day. The parking rate increases by $10.50 every 12 hours after the first day of parking.
