Yes, food is available at all LAX terminals. Also, LAX now offers a mobile ordering system that allows you to order meals ahead of time at most terminals and pick them up or have them delivered to your gate.

Does LAX have good food?

Foodies are unanimous in their agreement that LAX does have some amazingly good food and some typical airport fare. Here are some of the best eateries in LAX (in no particular order):

Currently, LAX Airport does not seem to have a McDonald’s. However, we spotted a Betcha Burger, Carl’s Jr, Cassels Hamburgers, and a KFC. There’s a McDonalds near the airport, though.

Does LAX airport have In and Out Burger?

In N Out LAX

In and Out Burger is outside LAX, not within the airport. As per Google Maps, the In-N-Out Burger north of LAX is 1.1 miles (or 1 mile if you’re walking) from the airport. According to the same map, there’s a newer In-N-Out Burger south of LAX, only 1.5 miles away.

Here’s a tip: If you’re heading over to In and Out, grab a Double-Double Animal-style. Trust us; you won’t regret it.

Can you walk to In N Out Burger from LAX?

Yes, you can walk to In N Out Burger from LAX if you have a decent amount of time to spare. Be warned, it’s a bit of a long walk (around 15 minutes), but it’s worth it.

Where can I eat at LAX before security?

Before the security checkpoint, travelers can find food and dining options at Dunkin Donuts, Pinkberry, Planet Hollywood, Earl of Sandwich, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Starbucks, Asian Street Eats, and WPizza. After the security checkpoint, travelers can chow down at 800 Degrees Pizza, Border Grill, Chaya Brasserie, and ink.

Can you take food through TSA at LAX?

According to the official TSA website, you can pack food in your carry-on or checked bag. However, keep in mind that all food must be x-rayed. The 3-1-1 liquids rule applies to foods that are liquids, gels, or aerosols. TSA officers will make the final decision on whether or not certain items are permitted into the airport’s secured areas.
