How much could the biggest NFL stadium hold – 100K? You’re almost right – only if we account for standing room. But as per officially listed seating capacities, 82.5 K is currently the max. So, which stadium tops the list? And, which ones are at the bottom with only around 60K seats?

The NFL has some of the biggest professional sports stadiums in the country – but they are nowhere close to college football stadiums. Michigan Stadium, for example, can officially seat 107,601! The biggest NFL stadiums have got about 20K less. But that’s only the official listed capacity. If you count in standing-room, the Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium in Arlington can easily close the gap with 100K fans. However, AT&T Stadium is only the fourth biggest NFL stadium in terms of official seating capacity.

So, which is the biggest NFL stadium?

MetLife Stadium in New Jersey takes the top spot with an officially listed capacity of 82,500 seats.
