What is Winter Wonder Grass California 2023?
Winter Wonder Grass (WWG) is a country music festival founded by Scotty Stoughton. The inaugural edition in 2013 was at a parking lot in Edwards, CO. Since then, the event has moved to a bigger venue in Steamboat Springs and is celebrating its 10th Anniversary in 2023.
Over the years, WWG has grown into one of the best annual festivals for bluegrass, Americana, and roots music fans. California got its own festival in 2015. Bonfire Entertainment organizes WWG events in Baja – Mexico, Stratton – Vermont, and Dinosaur National Monument.
In 2023, Winter Wonder Grass California is back at Palisades Tahoe for the seventh year with a 25-band lineup and four stages. Fifteen breweries are also on board for this year’s beer tastings. The Beer Hall will also serve whiskey and spike seltzer. Additionally, the festival grounds will have a coffee bar, several food trucks, a kids’ zone, and more.
What are the Winter Wonder Grass California 2023 dates?
The next Winter Wonder Grass California Festival in Palisades Tahoe is from March 31 – April 02, 2023.
The pre-party from 1-4 pm on March 30 is a free event for all – you don’t need tickets to watch the concert at the Village Plaza. You can catch more free shows at the same venue during the festival weekend. There’ll be free shows at Gold Coast on top of the mountain from 12-2 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
After the main stage performances end, multiple venues in the Olympic Valley will host Grass After Dark late-night shows daily, but you need to buy separate tickets for these events.
WWG California Box Office opens daily at 1:45 pm, and you can enter the festival grounds at 2:00 pm. From 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, beer/whiskey/cider/seltzer tastings are free for 21+ guests. Music at the main stage ends at 10:00 pm on Friday (March 31) and Saturday (April 1). The festival winds up early at 9 pm on the last day (April 2).

Winter Wonder Grass California 2023 Festival venue is a parking lot near The Village at Palisades Tahoe and Plum Jack Inn. The address is 1960 Olympic Valley Rd, Olympic Valley, CA 96146. The tram and bus stops are about a 10-minute walk from this location.
Apart from the main outdoor stage, three side stages will be within the heated tents. The kick-off concert on Thursday (March 30) is at The Village Plaza at the base of Palisades Tahoe.

GA and VIP tickets are on sale for Winter Wonder Grass Tahoe 2023 festival, and you’ll find early bird rates as low as $109. Ski, Tram to Table, RV Camping, and Grass After Dark passes are also available on the official festival website.
