Valvoline does a great job. I generally go to the same location on Watson Road, but they looked overwhelmed with customers on my last visit so I tried this location in Creve Coure. It was less busy and efficient. The manager was dealing with more involved service on another car and had the good sense to shift work to the next bay over to keep things moving. I will definitely add this location to my list of trusted service providers.
It was fast & easy. When I called on phone, I thought I reached the Creve Coeur location and i asked prices with oil sur charge. They said $4.99. When I got there the price was so an extra $ 7 . They charged per quart. I did use 15% off coupon. One of the girls working there debated with me telling me my BATTERY was not under the hood but in my trunk. It’s a 2010 Chrysler Sebring Convertible. I thought she was insane. I’ve had my battery replaced. I told her my top goes in trunk. Someone should educate her about batteries in a CAR.
I am marking “overpriced” on the price you paid section, but that is not at all a reflection of my star ranking. Valvoline gets a solid 5 stars from my household because of how fast, not pushy, and extremely friendly the technicians always are when we get an oil change. The location we use in Creve Coeur MO. has our business every time. They are awesome and know what they're doing. I hate driving in Creve Coeur and often avoid it due to all of the horrible drivers (someone almost always hits me when I venture onto Olive Blvd.), but I make the effort to come to this location because the techs here kick ass. I even have a Valvoline across the street from me that I can see from my house, and I still prefer the 11333 Olive Blvd location. No shade to the one near me, 11333 is just awesome. Again, if there is anything bad I can say, it's just Valvolines prices in general, but at least the coupons are pretty good. I hope the execs pay their techs well, because they 100% deserve it.
