Alec was a true blessing!!! I had went to the tezel grissom Valvoline at 6:35pm. They are open til 7pm, however the man did not want to take my car. He said they were closing. I explained that my car is past due and I think something is wrong it feels bad driving. He said if I come back tomorrow he can give me a 10% discount. I told him i work all day tomorrow 8-8. He said 20% on my next day off. I didn't argue with him, I just said no my car needs care now. I was disappointed and drove off. I started to feel like that was so wrong as I looked at the clock and know that they're still open. I decided to call Headquarters to report this. Marcy empathize with me and was also not happy to hear this happening. She agreed that was not normal practice to turn people away during business hours. Closing duties can be done when done with customers. She sent me a coupon. I was still at this point worried about driving my car like that and it was 3 minutes til Closing so I zoomed to the Culebra location. I arrived at 7:03 and saw the man Alec just Closing the garages. He came up to my car. Heard my experience and immediately stated that's not right, they should not have turned you away. We'll take care of you. Told his coworker Brian and they guided me in. I couldn't believe how kind and didn't waste a minute to be of service. I started to cry. He said not to worry they got me. My Oil level was Zero. It was completely dry. Thank God for Alec and Brian for having big hearts. I will only give my buisness to them at this Valvoline from now on. Please give these gentlemen an incentive for their exceptional work. Hand clap Aec and Brian ??? God sees your good doings.
*UPDATE* The shop manager and another mechanic actually drove to my house the same day and repaired the issue on my vehicle. I’m forever thankful for such great customer service and they have definitely gained my trust! Change the one star review to 5. ________ I recently went in for a normal oil change like I have done for years. The worker offered a service that would help my gas mileage and clean the engine as he said. At no point during the maintenance or before was I told my car would become unsafe to drive. AFTER service, he told me my car may possible jolt while driving and that would be normal for up to 3 days. If my ENGINE light turns on to come back. Well let me tell you, not only had my engine light turned on, everything else in my dashboard light has turned on even my brake sign and off road sign that was never turned on. My car jolts while I’m at the light, when I turn it on and when I’m trying g to accelerate! I had to drive my kids to soccer this weekend in this unsafe condition and in rainy weather on my way to work. I have almost been in an accident at least 5 times. I have not had time to bring it in. This work was done on Friday morning and now it is Thursday and I don’t know what to do with my car. I NEVER had these issues with my car. I trusted valvoline and now I’m worried my car may be damaged Due to poor or inexperienced service
The guys always provide great customer service and answer any and all questions I have. They are very knowledgeable in what they are doing. They are my go to for my oil changes & car check up every few months. Highly recommend them! Thank you!
