I recently had my car serviced at [A sham auto repair ], and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, professional, and transparent about the work that needed to be done. The mechanics are clearly skilled and experienced—they diagnosed the issue quickly and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. I especially appreciated their honesty and fair pricing, with no pressure for unnecessary repairs. The service was completed on time, and my car has been running perfectly since. Sham Kumar has repaired numerous vehicles of ours over the years. He will dedicate time and brain storming to diagnostics and determining the root cause of the problem. He did this with our 2010 Dodge Caravan when it was not driving properly — he kept it for about a week to test drive it each day and make minor adjustments, finally resolving the problems which related to the transmission, but did not require any major repairs or costs. He test drove it another few times to make sure it functioned properly. At one point, my 2003 Ford Taurus was having repeated problems with the battery. When I was stranded and called AAA, the tow truck driver advised that I get a replacement battery, which I did on-the-spot because I was desperate and needed to drive the car, but the problem persisted. I finally was able to get this old car to Sham Kumar, who changed out the wiring and hardware connections for the battery at a very low cost. A few days later, however,’ this old car was still having issues with the darn battery and I had to jump start it every time, so I took it again to Sham Kumar. He experimented and persisted without charging me anything. This particular year 2003 Ford Taurus was very well made and had a great engine , easy maintenance, and such a reliable car, never any problems— except with this stupid battery (and/or the connection to the battery, we still were not sure). Finally, Kumar just removed the darn battery once and for all, he went to his junk yard and took a battery from another car, then put that one into mine. Zero charge for this labor or time. We were happy because this permanently fixed the issue. There were no further problems ever again and I drove that car for another few years before selling it to someone else, who also reported no issues at all.
