About Buffalo Niagara International Airport

Cheektowaga, New York, is home to the Buffalo Niagara International Airport. Its name honors the Buffalo and Niagara Falls metropolitan areas. The Buffalo Niagara Airport has BUF as its allotted IATA code. This airport is unusual in that it also serves a tiny portion of Ontario, Canada, in addition to the New York area. As a major transportation hub, the airport connects the southern Golden Horseshoe region of Ontario, Canada, to Buffalo, New York, United States. It is about 11 miles east of Downtown Buffalo and 60 miles southeast of Toronto. It is the state's third busiest airport. Buffalo Municipal Airport, the forerunner to today's Buffalo Niagara International Airport, first opened in 1926. The Buffalo-Niagara International Airport was officially named after the city in 1997, following the completion of improvements.

Buffalo Airport offers long-term and short-term parking. Convenient Offsite Parking options are also available. The Buffalo Airport Map has the parking lots' allotted locations. The Buffalo Airport Terminal Map has all the details regarding the terminals. One of the most popular tourist destinations in North America is the roaring Niagara Falls, and the easiest way to get there is through Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF). For decades, the romance of the largest waterfall in North America has enticed sightseers and honeymooners, as seen by the millions of annual passengers traveling through Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
